without counting today's game for assists.
Egloff is currently at 4 goals and 5 assists in 6 games this season.

Only 1 game was played today in which Stuttgart U17 won 3-0.1st game of the season that Kramny doesn't score in. Still 9 goals in 6 games is still pretty good. Also the win moves Stuttgart U17 to 1st place above Bayern U17 as they have a better GD.

In other news, Paul Will is the 1st youngster to make a matchday squad for Bayern under Kovac as Thiago was declared unfit. It's also his 1st time in a competitive game as he was part of the preseason. Although given the bench options seems less likely to be used.

-sucks that Will couldn't even make at least a cameo. Hopefully he gets his chance for a pro debut during the season at some point.
-some other bench updates, Passlack who played the full 90 for 2 League Cup games for Norwich, made the bench for the 1st time for his club in the Championship. Although he didn't come on, hopefully a chance comes in the future.
-just realized that Glatzel with 6 goals in 4 games is the current top scorer in the Premier League U18. Will be interesting to see if he ends up the top scorer by the end of the season or not.

on another note, looks like Germany U19 coach Guido Streichsbier was present during the UEFA Youth League match of Ajax today to observe Kuhn's playing as well as to talk to the Jong Ajax coach Michael Reiziger. A fit and playing Kuhn should be a starter for 00 group in the NT. Heck even an not fully fit Kuhn was a starter at the U17 WC, where he was rested between matches.

what a comeback in EL, down 2-0 to now lead 3-2!. What a strike too!

Havertz also voted player of the week.

    meanwhile

Serdar is what the 20th+ German young player that's been scouted by Barca in the last 2 seasons? lol. What's interesting is that they do get rejected. Awhile ago, Goretzka confirmed he rejected Barca and Rummenigge stated had Bayern not signed him he likely would have joined Barca.

looks like because of injury issues, Havertz might play as a 6 this weekend.

meanwhile looks like 03-Denk might finally make his comeback.

had it not been for the long injury he would likely have made his debut in U17 last season as a 14 year old. Made the bench once before his injury. Now looks like he's getting match practice in U16 before later on being an option for U17 as he's a U17 player.

    U17
    X1: Bediako, Emini

    RL
Evina, Stark (4th of the season and finally someone surpasses Arp for Hamburg II top scorer), Ferdinand,
    Fuhrich, Musel (2nd)

Musel seems to be mostly playing AM this season in the reserves but also as a CM and even CF. I recall he stated that his preference is playing #8 or #10 but that he can also be played as a #9. Even though in the youth level and at FCK he's mostly played as a #9. I still wonder if Gladbach seems him as a taller version of Lars Stindl and Raffael or a hybrid of the 2. He also at one point said that he likes Raffael's game and that dude turns 34 this season.

    3rd Liga
-Akono made the bench for the 1st time this season for Munster, although unused. Played in 3rd Liga last season where he scored once in 2 games!

    Dutch 2nd division
-Kuhn made the Jong Ajax bench but didn't come on, as one of 4 from the YL game to make it. Looks like he'll emulate last season where even though he barely played and came back from injury he shifted between U19 and II all the time. Guess he's playing U19 this weekend.
-also looks like Arweiler and Frey are the German player who are currently struggling the most to get playing time.

    2BL
-98 Zehir off the bench assisted the only goal for St Pauli in a 1-0 win.

    1BL
with Wolf not fit, 98 GK Theissen was the bench keeper for FD today.

Keanan Bennetts made his official Gladbach debut today as he played 29 minutes off the bench as a sub for Gladbach II. Reason is he's been injured until now.

I do wonder though with Musel seeming like a perspective replacement for the aging Stindl/Raffael more for Raffael who's closer to the end if Bennetts is being prepped to eventually replace Fabian Johnson? They play in similar positions and Johnson turns 31 in Dec with an expired 2020 contract.

Noah Awuku gets called up to Holstein Kiel's senior team for the first time today, and is on the bench.

While Janni Serra makes his 6th league start of the season. Although he is yet to score in 2BL.

Awuku didn't come on but seems likely to make his pro debut this season.

while Serra scored in the 90+1 minute from a header to make it 2-2 for Kiel, save them from losing 3 pts. Currently at 1 goal and 1 assist in 6 games. I believe he plays the targetman role who's supposed to make space for others.

looks like Torles Knoll scored a double for FCN to make it 2-0 vs H96. Although some sources put the 1st goal as an Anton OG. So Knoll either has 2 goals or 1 goal and 1 assist.

and to think Hamburg never gave him a chance last season and was relegated to Hamburg II where he ended up as top scorer of the RL Nord.

also currently FCN's top scorer in 1BL this season.

came on the 74th minute, scored on the 75th and 77th minute.
2 goals (or 1 goal and 1 assist) in 3 games while playing 30 minutes this season.

Good to see Knöll get on the scoresheet. It's been a slow start to the BL division season for German strikers, especially youngsters Under-23. Hope to see him continue to play more.

    U17
    X3: Ameti
X2: Gedikli (03, already at 7 goals in 7 games), Onur (Gedikli's teammate also at 7 in 7), Lemperle, Yildirimer
X1: Scott, Eickschlager, Can Aydin, Krasniqi, Theobald, Jacob Jansen, Thielmann, Trujillo, Nebel, Ismail, Gunther, Tillman, Halbich, Herold, Bruckner, Mosandl, Demircan, Dentico, Bardehle, Scheller, Gollombeck, Michael

with their 7 goals in 7 games, Gedikli, Onur, and Lemperle are now leading scorers of the U17 West. Moukoko at 6 plays tomorrow. Between Gedikli and Moukoko that's 2 that are playing above their age groups.

    Although, Moukoko to U19?

    U18
Glatzel with a double for Liverpool U18 in a 4-3 win. Now at 8 goals in 5 games this season.

    Dutch U19
Kuhn wasn't in the squad, guess after being with Jong Ajax he got the weekend off.

    U19
    X2: JP Kabuya, Konig, Hartmann
X1: Pfalz, Adigo, Dressen, Hermes, Risch, Benkeser, Geschwill, Heiland, Gorlich, Landwehr, Kuyucu, Protzek, Beck, Aytun, Yeboah, Herrmann, Pohlmann, H Muller, Berger, Schroder, Alves, Kaya, Aris, Okoegualem, Velikoudis, Bias

    EPL2
F.Nmecha after scoring in his 1st game of the season in YL he scored again in a 3-0 win.

    RL
    Boyamba X2 (4th), Rudlin

Abouchabaka has been playing in the reserves to get match practice currently at 2 assists in 2 Games. Although did not play today, does that mean he's in the matchday squad for the 1st team in 2BL?

    3rd Liga
-98-Shipnoski scores a double for Wehen in a 2-1 win.
-Marseiler scored his 4th in a 3-3 draw. Same game had Undav and Porath also score as well as Greger with an assist.
-In another 3-3 draw, Elias Huth scored a double with Kuhlwetter also getting on the board. While Wolfram had an assist. I think it's a shame that Huth and Y.Otto are bench players.

    1BL
-J.Eggestein got 3 minutes, shame that Pizarro who's 40 is ahead of the younger players.
-Muslija made the H96 bench for the 1st time since moving. Good thing he and Maina were on the bench.
-Kammerbauer made the bench for Freiburg 1st time this season, although unused.

you have Waldschmidt, Werner, Knoll in terms of 96-onwards who scored. Teuchert made a huge mistake in going to Schalke can barely manage to make the bench, should have stayed at FCN. J.Eggestein is a bench CF who either gets a few minutes or none at all. Richter has only played 1 time as CF the rest he was winger. Musel/Kiprit/D.Otto seem to be in the reserves or for some reason Otto is in limbo. Nagelsmann is more interested in playing Joelinton in every game. Hopefully he gets match practice in RL soon at least. Every other young CF is in the reserves.

I think 2BL seems more problematic outside of Serra/Seydel no striker has scored and barely even see the field to begin with. Neither of Serra/Seydel is new to the league either and with a coach like Walter they get chances as well. Doesn't help that Platte/Kruger are injured/not fit yet.

you look at all 3 divisions in Germany and young strikers are overall bench strikers or part of the reserves of their teams. Not many that start games.

concerning Gedikli if he continues down this path, I wonder if he could be the next one to follow Havertz to the 1st team early on. Since Bayer have no reserves, it means that very few get promotion and everyone else leaves the club after their last eligible U19 season. The current U19 of Bayer seems weak especially in attacking positions, the more prominent players seem to be more central/defensive and even then would be hard to see more than 1, tops 2 make it at the club.

Last major striker at Bayer was Yesil. And Yesil played his 1st real season at Bayer U17 as a 15 year old.
    13 goals in 25 games

03-15 years old, Gedikli already at 7 goals in 7 games.

top scorers of Bayer U17 in a season, in the last 8 seasons.
2010-2011 season, Yesil 22 goals in 14 games (16-17), guy was ruined by 2 major injuries and jumped ship from the club quickly to join Liverpool. Had he not done that he would good chance have gotten real chances in the 1st team outside of his 1 game in 1BL as a 17 year old.
2015-2016 season Havertz (16 years old) 18 goals in 26 games

all of the season between these 2 ended up between 7-12 goals for the whole season.
