Benedikt Gimber with his first start of the season , as Jahn Regensburg won 4-2 away at Ingolstadt. They previously won 3-1 vs Darmstadt last weekend at the Pokal, in which Gimber subbed on during the 21st minute to replace his teammate. Second consectutive quality start for Lukas Boeder as Paderborn look improved this season. Won vs Erfurt and last week vs St. Pauli at the Pokal.
Nagelsmann's with more praise for Geiger. While Philipp Ochs will be sent out on loan. FCN should be an ideal destination for him. Especially now they'll really need someone since Sebastian Kerk just got injured today and will out for rest of the Hinrunde. http://www.kicker.de/news/fussball/...-lob-fuer-geiger---gehen-toljan-und-ochs.html
It's worrying that even Gladbach, only have 3 German starters Frankfurt none... Apparently Augsburg n Stuttgart don't have many Germans in their starting lineup too

Hoffenheim's captain n leading striker David Otto got the topscorer award n was selected as the player of the tournament by coaches from other teams.
Rausch is also set to miss Köln's next match after getting a brain/head related injury. So Jannes Horn should continue and get the start vs HSV. http://geissblog.koeln/2017/08/gehirnerschuetterung-rausch-faellt-vorerst-aus/ 🔊 Reactions to #BMGKOE from Jannes #Horn, Dominique #Heintz, and #effzeh head coach Peter #Stöger: pic.twitter.com/usplJPfd8r— 1. My predicted U21 call up list. Assuming that Werner will continue to be with the senior NT. Brandt and Sane can be either senior or U21, but for the purpose of boosting depth where it's needed more I would include them for U21. GK would continue to be my main question marks. The '97s have more notable prospects. However, they are all more or less on a similar level and do not have experience as a regular starter yet for their respective clubs. GK: ?, ?, ? Defence: Baumgartl, Kehrer, Tah, Klünter, Klostermann, Henrichs, Horn, Mittelstädt, Torunarigha Midfield/Wing: Dahoud, Amiri, Öztunali, Sane, Anton, Brandt, Neuhaus, Staude Forward: Platte, Waldschmidt, Teuchert Standby list: Koch, Uduokhai, Kammerbauer, Serdar, Ochs, Ananou, Gimber, Mehlem
Passlack, Havertz? Both ready for the Jump? Just like the U19 (Yari Otto n Wintzheimer) Striker is still the biggest problem in U21. Not many exciting talents
If Passlack remains at Dortmund this season and doesn't get ample playing time, then he won't be getting chosen for U21. Especially when the RB position can be covered by options like Henrichs, Klostermann, and Klünter already. Havertz is at a year where it's more important he contributes with the U19 NT. Barkok would be a more appropriate candidate to move up first.
Freiburg's signing of Robin Koch is almost complete. Just a suggestion, but maybe Kaiserslautern can bring in someone like Joel Abu Hanna as a replacement. http://www.kicker.de/news/fussball/...l_wende_lauterns-koch-doch-nach-freiburg.html
