    Oh God not this again...

If people don't have something to hate or talk shit about there's no purpose to existing.

    Pathetic.

Özil didn't play bad, he had a very good second half when we played more direct, counter-attackish.

I believe his stats for your national team speak for themselves.

People here love to hate on him though. He so much as dares not to track back at a full sprint and everyone comes out of the woodwork to condemn him.

Whatever the defense will look like. I dont think you cant do sth. wrong with the Mats Hummels of tonight in it.

    Outstanding performance.

Not bad at all. No Arsenal player was outstanding and as a team there is a lot to criticize but they won and Özil played a part in it. As he did in their Cup run. Without him, Arsenal no trophies. He comes in, and they win one. Hyperbole yes but he has had an impact. More so when you look at the club with him fit and present and without him.

Never hate Oezil, but he didn't play well in first half

I hope Loew won't follow Pep's 3-7-0 formation. Maybe in knockout stage, but not for group stage.

Bur i Still hope there is a way we can play Mertesacker, Hummels and Boateng in the starting lineup together

Hummels has been in fine form ever since the Real Madrid clash. Hope he can carry the momentum through and hope Löw has the good sense to start him

Thanks to scoreboard journalism, Pep's managerial genius for the season is largely resting on Hummel's ghost goal.

    Tough result.

Shows how fine the margins are and how much is down to chance.

Why would you do something in the knockouts but not the group? There's much more margin for error in the group.

Actually Mesut was great, a class of his own, the usual brainy we're used to, the one who always seemed to know what to do before receiving the ball. But even Ozil's class could not help a team with such an awful quality. In the 2nd half he created more than 6 chances, but non was converted, Sonogo, Giroud(give me a break).

For the record anyone who questions Ozil quality or contribution to his team has to be either a moron or an English commentator. lol

I think Loew needa work out a formation with all Mertesacker, Hummels and Boateng in the starting lineup. They all deserve to be starters, our CBs, along with Reus, Neuer, Lahm, Mueller are our biggest assets right now. Oezil too, if he can find his form. Lahm will most likely play at DM given our injury situation

So Arsenal became better after Ozil was subbed, and u guys would have beaten Madrid if Muller played the entire first leg. lol

Arsenal changed for the better after Sonogo's introduction, the two striker set up pulled Hull's extra midfielder away from the congested middle allowing Ozil to create almost six successive chances non of which was taken. Again you have to be total ............. if you think Arsenal improved after Ozil exit.

Arsenal had 4 clear penalties not given and missed numerous chances while Ozil was on - not to mention scoring two goals.

Did you actually watch the game?

So basically boateng is shit, Hummels is a genius....

    Merte and Hummels for CB?

I believe boateng had progressed immensely from several years ago and there's no better pairing in Germany then boateng and Hummels..

The question is how do we deal with lahm..

I prefer lahm at RB and KG as LB.
