It plays a role in how soon I return, plus my job is quite enjoyable. Eventually I have to get back to my extended family in the US. Altogether, it's been over 15 years. I'm rather anxious about moving back before 2020...where my work takes me, it's DEEP red...
909310094281723904 is not a valid tweet id This could be a big deal cause the biggest opposition party holds more parliamentary rights.
#btw17 Wahlumfrage Bundestagswahl, @civey_de, 19.09.17: CDU/CSU: 35,9% (−2,3), SPD: 21,9% (−0,2), AfD: 11,1%… https://t.co/JNaCowEE2H pic.twitter.com/i7ohOoghRs— DAWUM - Neueste Wahlumfragen (@dawum_de) September 19, 2017
I hate to think about what people would say about things I said when I was 19. Good thing there was no social media back then. I was at a lunch yesterday where the speaker was the German ambassador. He kept saying things like "whoever is Chancellor after the next election" and everyone would start laughing. Everyone knows at this point Merkel is reelected. But what is the coalition? The natural CDU/CSU/FDP coalition will probably not get above 50% and they cannot allow the AfD into government. Personally, I would like to see a Jamaica coalition partly in that I would like to see conservatives work with environmentalists on something. My question is if there is a Dinkins factor happening with the AfD. Namely, that people do not want to admit they are planing to vote AfD to a pollster, so the AfD will actually get more votes.
There surely is such a factor. But the pollsters are including it in their polls. Problem is they dont have much data so the AfD figures could be under or overestimated. We just wont know before Sunday
Merkel just had her last campaign appearance in Munich and she was booed off stage by left and right protesters alike
My nephew is voting for AfD, idiot hasn’t worked in over a decade..... Has he even read their platform and agenda? I have a feeling that he will see little progress in supporting them in Bavaria, but TBH, I’m not sure that he appreciates that his benefits would fall squarely in their sights....well I suppose I should be happy to know now that we don’t have the dumbass- market cornered....apparently they’re everywhere. https://www.kleinerfuenf.de/en/afd-policies
AfD voters consider the refugees and immigrants the reason for policies cutting on social benefits. They cost 30 billion per year. Thats 30 billion less for poor Germans - in their opinion.
