    U17: Onur scored a brace in a 2-2 draw with Schalke U17
U19: Can scored once for Schalke U19 in a 3-1 win for them. Reported to be getting a pro contract with Schalke, which would make him the 3rd German dual at Schalke with pro contract......that doesn't play for Germany......

Uzun scored a double in a 3-2 loss vs Dusiburg U19. Takes his tally to 17 goals in 21 games for U19 West, which is good enough for 1st place in scoring table tied with another 2.

1BL: Malli with an assist for Wolfsburg's 3rd goal.

we got a German-Uruguay player too, who would have thought. Born in Uruguay.

03-Juan Cabrera who plays for Schalke U16 but has been playing recently for Schalke U17, scoring vs Bayer Leverkusen U17 in a 2-2 draw. Kid was in U15 German Camp but also seems to have played a Uruguay U17 game as well. A 03 playing U17 NT that's above his age group as 03s are in U16.

really does seem like we got duals from all over the world from Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Venezuela. Any Colombians? Tons of German-Americans even some German-Mexicans and German-Canadian and even German players who are duals from Central America-Caribbean. From Europe plenty of British, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Polish, Bosnia, Kosovo/Albania,Turkey, Netherlands, etc. And plenty from Africa too. Even some German-Koreans and German-Japanese.

speaking of Africa and Boujellab seems like 96-onwards one sees more and more German-Moroccan players. But I've noticed numerous ones 96-onwards, but can't even think of any from pre 96.

players like Sabiri, Barkok, Boujellab, Abouchabaka, Harnafi, Kurt, Farahat, Loune etc. Believe Loune might have a 04 brother as well.

post from mid-Nov about Yalcin that was about trashing him for playing in Turkey 1st division from a certain poster, lol.

and from today's post from Epitome.
'Transfermarkt.de' show several clubs from Germany interested in the 20-year-old striker Besiktas. Among other things, the online portal Bayer Leverkusen calls. "There are clubs from the Bundesliga who observe Güven and are interested. I have already had concrete talks on this ", confirms Yalcin consultant Ahmet Düdük.

Yalcin is very popular not only in Germany. "Among other things, there is also interest from LaLiga and Serie A," said Düdük.

    and a post from March.

reality is that in Germany it's becoming very hard for strikers to even get chances. Which is why going to a lower level league is not a negative as some might think. As 1BL clubs seem to want experienced youngsters but aren't always keen into giving that experience themselves and 2BL is a league that barely plays young strikers, actually 2BL seems even worse than 1BL. So if you don't get chances in 1BL, it doesn't look great for younger ones.

Players like Isak (Swedish) and Yalcin are good example of players who play in lower leagues and who are attracting attention. Both are 99s and both left Germany this season and both performing where they went. Plenty of other young strikers around Europe who do well are always linked with 1BL.

heck a ton of the young strikers in Germany got experience from outside.

it's why I wouldn't mind some of our strikers doing this but outside of Adeyemi, Berisha, Ache, Musiala and L.Nmecha all of our strikers are in Germany. Reality is that the list is deceiving, Berisha is a 4 national player, Albania, Kosovo, German, and believe even Austrian, was pretty much fully developed in Austria. Ache seems to be a triple national that was mostly developed in Netherlands. L.Nmecha moved to England at 9 and was developed in English system. Musiala started his career in Germany but later on developed in England and doesn't seem like he wants to play for Germany. Which only leaves Adeyemi who moved their in Summer 2018. Adeyemi thinks he'll get RB Salzburg chances next season. One would think he'll be bought by RB Leipzig in a few seasons and he'll be back in Germany when he has experience. In the end one can argue that Adeyemi is your only one that's more German based system who left permanently, the rest not as much.

other guys like Kiprit and Skenderovic are on loan to Austria and both are barely playing. I think it's always better for players to be permanent players over loans. So that then clubs have more incentive to develop them.

forgot another striker outside of Germany in Eckert. It's interesting that all the strikers who left Germany whether permanent or not, they are all dual/triple nationals.

only really high profile one is Adeyemi and on a wait and see on Musiala as he's still very young and playing in England. Musiala for a 03 as already played like 2 U18 games in English leagues including 1 last season.

    02-Shuranov continues to progress well.
For FCN U17 (midtable team): 13 goals in 14 games
For FCN U19 (above his age group and fighting relegation battle): 3 goals and 1 assist in 9 games.

For Ukraine U17: seems to be a 4 goals in 3 games. Didn't even participate in Euro U17 Elite Round qualifiers either, was MIA.

not too bad given that Ukraine U17 and FCN U19 are poor teams.

Sambou scored a brace in a 4-3 loss to Man City U23. Takes his EPL2 tally to 9 for the season....but once again majority of his goals of those 9 are PKs (including 1 today). His Everton U23 coach stated that there was no interest in him in Winter loan and an almost 22 year old who still hasn't played at a real level. U23 in England is rubbish, reserves that is pretty much kids vs kids while other countries reserves are actually in the pyramid and play vs adults.

dislike seeing any German kid go to EPL just to play EPL2. Better off joining some 2nd or 3rd division clubs instead make real progress.

lol Freiburg will give Daferner/Nieland/Pieringer the shaft for someone in Turkey, goes to show that staying in Germany and playing in lower levels is not always a good thing.

and Wolfsburg never gave any II or U19 players a shot but interested as well....

1BL clubs are showing more and more that it's a league that plays young players but a lot of the young players are foreign players who have experience from outside.

oops forget to add also scored vs Brazil U16.

meanwhile another dual making progress club wise 00-Uzun (provisionally capped by Turkey) from Bochum leading scorer in U19 West tied with other players.

    Bochum is fighting for mini-Hinterseer

The departure of Lukas Hinterseer (28), the VfL can not prevent (BILD reported). But replacement is yes in your own A-youth.

Already 17 goals in the U19 - Bochum fights for mini Hinterseer.

Ömer Uzun (19) is center-forward and leads the scoring list of the A-junior Bundesliga West. Problem: The contract of the German Turk expires.

Uzun advisor Memet Sar: "We are in good conversations with VfL about a professional contract. However, there is also an offer from the Turkish first division Kayserispor. The decision will be made next week ... " As well as Hinterseer, Congolese striker Silvere Ganvoula (22) may return to RSC Anderlecht, leaving VfL with Simon Zoller (27) with only one option left to attack. There would be a sense of commitment from Uzun.

VfL manager Sebastian Schindzielorz (40) is still in the crowd but still covered: "Yes, it's true, the talks are running. But with an open-ended outcome! "

lol at Turkish League trying to lure every German-Turk to their country. Besides Bochum other 2BL clubs and even 1BL club in FCN (but fighting relegation) are interested in Uzun.

Bochum seems to be developing interesting strikers besides Uzun from U19, they have 02-Hartwig from their U17. Well at least there is no issue with Hartwig being poached by other countries.....

looks like another player gets poached as 99-Chinedu Ekene has been called up to the Nigerian U20 in anticipation of the U20 WC. Yet another striker to add that doesn't play for Germany. Played for Germany in U15-U17 but never provisionally capped so it's a free transfer. Will be provisionally capped by Nigeria the moment he steps foot in the WC.

really does seem like 99-Kaya is the only 99 striker left who's dual and still open to Germany. How long will that last before he gets poached too?

    More on him
Owngoalnigeria.com did a quick search on the 19 year old and from our checks, the Hoffenheim teen forward first tasted professional football with Bayern Leverkusen when at the age of 17, he signed his first professional contract.

” At that time I was at my peak in terms of performance and after training with the senior team, the former coach of Bayern Leverkusen Roger Schmidt came to me and asked about my contract situation after that it was very fast. I signed my first professional contract “, Ekene told Owngoalnigeria.com.

He was however prevented from staking a claim in the first team of Bayern Leverkusen due to a knee injury and he was out for 14 months and even when he returned. His form and performance in the 8 games he played wasn’t up to the required level. Hence his decision to leave for Hoffenheim.

This season he has scored three goals from 18 games as he bid to return to the form which saw him represent Germany at U15, U16 and U17 level. At 16 years old he scored ten goals in 13 games for the youth team of Bayern Leverkusen.

Injuries have not been fair to the German-Nigerian forward but he is determined never to give up on his dream of becoming a professional footballer at the highest level ” I have never pitied myself because there are always people who are even worse off and doubts is not a question to me because I know what I want and I can not just give up”, he concluded.

Freiburg's RB on loan at Paderborn, Mohamed Drager, seems to be doing pretty well this season in 2BL and has been a key player in their promotion battle. He's born in Freiburg but represents Tunisia internationally
