out indefinitely as they saw something that needs investigation while doing check up. Well here's hoping for the best to the kid.

Baris Ekincier is a 99 attacking player. Born in Germany but seems to also be Turkish-Azerbaijan. Has been involved exclusively with Azerbaijan. Made his pro debut this season for Bochum playing 28 minutes in the dfb cup as Bochum lost 1-0.

yeah he was, I mentioned it both here, the 4 02 strikers who are/had involvement with other NTs and in the Youth thread.

He's an interesting one for sure. Would take him over Tekin, Harnafi etc. And he plays for a smaller club too.

From his IG, as early as May, Asllani was with DFB U16

He is undecided between the both nations but he said he knew we have some good strikers in his age group like Pakia And Woltemade

I don’t think Kronemayer will make it tho. His personality is an issue

I would like to see more players put less importance on youth NT and try to stick it out with Germany. At the end of the day, what you do at pro level is what matters. Very easy, especially for strikers to fade post youth levels. Just have patience.

once you play for another country at youth level, you are provisionally cap tied. It makes harder to go back to playing for Germany. More towards the unlikely.

for him, what does playing for Kosovo/Albania at youth level even does? If they somehow manage to make a youth tournament. GS exit seems likely end result.

Same for Turkey duals, their entire youth NT history is them bombing GS exit or the long list of failing to qualify. Turkey have only made 1 U21 in their history.

what your saying about Asllani is pretty much what Kiprit's issue with Germany. Towards the fear of the competition and drifting towards going to the other option.

Güven Yalcin is working his way into beginning to get game time at Besiktas

Cagatay Kader is pretty garbage and has fallen off in the Turkish third division no longer able to score

    well this is interesting,

00-Felix Nmecha is not part of the English U19 squad. That English U19 squad will play between Nov 14-20, 3 U19 Euro qualifiers. So had he been in the squad he likely would have been provisionally cap tied.

Felix Nmecha actually was involved with England U19 during Oct 11-16 friendlies. He only played 1 game as a sub and retracted from the 2nd game for whatever reason.

then it seems on Oct 18, his brother, Lukas said this.
"At the moment Felix has chosen to play for Germany at international level, while I’ve chosen England. We have both got time to decide to change if needs be but we are both happy with what we are doing."

seems like he might have Chosen Germany over England.

well he's been saying for ages that he wants to play for Italy.Congrats to him.

we do have a decent amount of German-Italian players but it doesn't always happen that they get Italy NT chances, Roberto Soriano, Grifo, Caligiuri etc are ones who get some chance. Some have played for Germany, a few like Grifo get the rare call up to Italy. The rest end up as neither.

played his 1st game in ages for Hannover 1st team, very ineffective, easily the worst from H96's side. Couldn't manage to go by anyone.Maybe he'll get better over time but that wasn't a great start.

Lorenzen is very ineffective these days in Eredivisie, his career doesn't look bright.

the guy who said Turkey would be screwed if they don't use German-Turks isn't wrong. Turkey barely barely made the U19 Euros Elite round. They had to qualify based on being one of the best 3rd place teams......And I believe that was a full domestic team. They might have some talents but they struggle to produce consistently themselves. Even the 2018 U19 Euros, one of the 2 only goals they scored was by Guven Yalcin. Even the 2017 U17 WC, 1/2 goals scored was by the German-Turk Kutucu.

speaking of German-Turk, Utku Sen isn't doing that well these days. Went from Kiel to a RL team. Seems to be struggling to produce post U19 level. As he hasn't done well in OL, RL or 3rd Liga.

have to say the increasing number of duals/triple nationals by the age groups, is why I think it's better for Germany to not get a bye to the Elite Round for Euro U17 and U19 qualifiers. Not only does that mean they play less competitive games which isn't a good thing. The more competitive games, the better for dev and mentality. But it's also less chances to provisionally cap players.

if no bye to the Elite Round. You get
-early stages of qualifiers (which our U17/U19 aren't playing)
    -Elite Round qualifiers (next stop)
    -U17/U19 Euros

instead of having 3 opportunities to cap, you only get 2. Also between both of these U levels it's all friendlies. U18 and U20 are all friendlies. U20 is only competitive when you play U20 WC and the qualifiers for those are U19 not U20. So having a bye to Elite Round makes it that between U15-U20 there are only limited chances to cap players.

U19, Bye to the Elite Round ---------------------------------U17, Bye to the Elite Round
    1-Portugal Coeff 24.722 ---------------------------------------1-England Coeff 27.667
    2-Germany Coeff 22.778---------------------------------------2-Germany Coeff 25.333

    No bye -------------------------------------------------------------No bye
    3-England Coeff 21.889----------------------------------------3-Spain, Coeff 24.056

England U19 and Spain U17 are very close of displacing Germany U19 and U17.

looks like the U19 West top scorer will be German-Turk vs German-Turk and both players play for Turkey.

Uzun from Bochum has overtaken Aydinel to now be the leading scorer, as he scored his 11th today. I actually prefer Uzun over Aydinel.

    01-Fisayo Dele-Bashiru from Manchester City U18 is another German-Nigerian-Brit.
    https://www.mancity.com/teams/academy/midfielders/fisayo dele bashiru

although no idea about his parents, his brother 99-Tom Dele-Bashiru was born in Manchester, England. So older brother born in England but younger in Germany. If no German parent, which seems to be the case then Tom is not a German but Fisayo is.

Former Freiburg prospect, Daniel Antunes Simoes, a 2000-born striker who was once rated during the early U15 and 16 stages of youth football but switched allegiances to Portugal has fallen off and is now at Verbandsliga Südbaden (6th tier) side FC Radolfzell.

even Portugal poach from Germany, Pedro Morais of Stuttgart was also involved with Portugal before going to Germany. I'm sure there are others too. Italy poaching players, Brazil of all countries wanting to poach OBM. France trying to poach Sane in the past. England has poached German youth players too and tried for others.

what's next 00-Sessa will be called up by Argentina?

I think another prospect that Portugal could be interested in is 03-Barata. Although he's part of German U16.

all that's missing is Spain trying to poach someone. Unless they already did....

hard to remember German-Spanish players there is
Gomez, Castro, Joselu,Redondo, Palacios Martínez, Ortega, etc.

    for young players
Cueto, Rios Alonso (with German U19), I'm sure there are more.

that 04 striker that @Karl-Heinz Riedle mentions as being a top striker prospect for his age group .
Luca Copado Schrobenhauser, also seems like a German-Spaniard. He's involved in a German U15 camp this month. I'm sure that Spain doesn't even know he exists though.

Dennis Eckert is also eligible for Germany, Spain and Iran

he's either injured so won't make it or he rejected the Cameroon call up.

Bayern listed Academy players that will play International football and Evina's name is nowhere to be found.

Eckert was one I had at the tip of my tongue. But Tapia is someone I haven't heard of in ages, forget he even existed and he was part of the 97 group U17 Euro. Now he's in 6th division, wow, what a downfall.

while Lopez made the Frankfurt 1st team bench twice and now has no club. How does that happen? Not easy to make the squad.

these are good examples as why one should always try to keep being excited about a prospect until they at least make it to pro level. Also so many players never pan out for the NT post U17 level.

Jeremy Dudziak who previously played as a winger earlier on in his youth career has further established himself as a RB this season. With his club St. Pauli sitting in 3rd place in 2BL right now. Would be nice to see him rise up to the first division whether with them or another club. He's also eligible to represent Tunisia.

Quite a few notable German-Greeks too. Mitroglou grew up in Germany and was part of Gladbach and Duisburg academies. Vlachodimos who is about it switch allegiances of course. Sebastian Vasiliadis has been doing reasonably well at Paderborn this season. Georgios Spanoudakis, who used to be kinda rated because he was in Barcelona's academy, then moved to Stuttgart but has fallen and now plays in Portugal for Vitoria Guimaraes' B team.

Blanco-Lopez is a mystery, kinda like Enis Bunjaki. Who was without a club for long time too. But Bunjaki now only barely plays in RL. Maybe it was a serious injury that derailed their careers. Because they didn't necessarily seem that bad before their decline.

there is also Aidonis the 2nd 01 to make his 1BL debut, did so today.

99-Georgios Siadas an LB has a pro contract with FD and his currently the back up LB as Contento is injured. Hertha's 99-Zografakis who played a massive role in helping Hertha U19 win their historic 1st ever U19 championship. Although has barely played for Hertha II this season. Hertha seemed more excited about him over the Summer but I guess they were more excited about their other players so his interest has cooled down.Another is 99-Selkos who's also barely played as he's part of the Paderborn 1st team. Still 3 99s who are close to 1st teams.

Vlachodimos is a massive waste tbh. Well here's hoping he makes it to becoming Greece's #1.
