LOL Terrence Boyd must have taken some classes at the Michael Bradley School of Penalty Taking. 🤦♂️#CCL #SCCL2019 pic.twitter.com/NSEQh39PYh— The Cooligans (@SoccerCooligans) February 20, 2019
Grifo with a goal and assist as Freiburg leads 3-0 at HT. his 3rd goal of the season to make it 2-0. Very nice FK. https://streamja.com/qNJy and his assist to make it 3-0. https://streamja.com/LkEL
Kiprit on loan in Austrian Bundesliga made his pro debut and in XI too as his team lost 3-0. Played 74 min, as his #10 team lost to the #12 team of the league. Battle between 2 bottom teams. while Berisha (still not capped by anyone) on loan from RB Salzburg made his debut in XI playing 74 min as his #11 team draw #4 0-0. both Kiprit and Berisha are loaned out to teams who are #10 and #11 out of a 12 team league.
Schalke could really use Ayhan right now Fortuna Düsseldorf have scored three goals from set-pieces this season 🤔Kaan Ayhan has scored three goals this season 🤨 (They're the same goals) 😏 pic.twitter.com/qm1feXjeU3— Bundesliga English (@Bundesliga_EN) February 23, 2019 Kaan Ayhan vs Nurnberg90 Minutes Played1 Goal108 Touches90 Passes Completed, 60 of them in the opposition half94% Pass Completion1 Chance Created9/12 Long Balls Completed9 Duels Won2 Dribbles Completed6 Aerial Duels WonAn unbelievable performance from the young CB pic.twitter.com/roelUTzFai— Mase (@Utd_Mas) February 23, 2019
lol and who did Schalke get to help them? Bruma a guy struggling for game time with Wolfsburg. always find it interesting seeing players succeed elsewhere after clubs dump them like Ayhan.
Ayhan and Ginter look to be the top CB's from the 94 age group. Günter hasn't picked up any momentum so I'd say Ayhan is much better than him after how he's improved in his development this season.
-looks like Avdijaj is back to his unprofessional issues. Seems like he's been absent for ages for Willem II and reports were that they wanted to loan him out to a Swiss club but that didn't happen. And that he needs to get his head together and work his way back if at all. That's his #1 issue though, while he will keep struggling as a pro when he's lacking the mentality. -L.Nmecha, with 1 goal and 6 assists in 28 games playing 1500 minutes Six months of Nmecha; reminiscent of three Premier League strikers https://www.deepdaledigest.com/anal...reminiscent-of-three-premier-league-strikers/ the 3 listed are Danny Welbeck, Andy Carroll and Josh King. -Aydinel scored a hat trick today for Dortmund U19 and ends his goal drought that lasted from early Nov. now at 12 goals and 7 assists in 18 games while Uzun scored his 14th goal today and now back to leading the U19 West scoring table. the 3 German-Turks who don't play for Germany are competing for top scorer. Uzun at 14 goals Kutucu at 12 goals Aydinel at 12 goals although not much of a competition since Kutucu has played the least from them and is currently playing 1BL. Kutucu is someone who I wouldn't be surprised if he gets a Turkey senior NT call up soon enough. While Uzun and Aydinel will likely continue to play for Turkey U19.
99-Bednarczyk scored on his RL and St Pauli II debut in a 2-0 win. that's a player who could get 1st team chances this season or the next. Majority of the 1st team have expiring 2019 contracts so spots could open.
Evina has played 3 games for Kiel in 2BL playing 140 min. So far not really impressed. Saw 2 of those matches still the same raw and inefficient Evina. That he's so raw really explains why Germany stopped calling him up. And next thing you know he jumps and commits to Cameroon, saying he wants to emulate his idol, Eto'o and play for them, admirable. Although in his case it makes sense, he was born there and emigrated to Germany. wonder how long it will take him to become more refined if ever? Dahoud is 23 and still looks raw. still only 18 and on loan to Kiel until 2020, so he has plenty of time.
After playing for what must seemed like a dozen different clubs earlier on in his career, it looks like Alexander Merkel has finally found his place at Heracles Almelo. He's been a steady starter for them this season, contributing to their 6th place standing in the Eredivisie so far as a smaller budget club. He's also gotten solid match ratings recently, also in their big win vs Ajax.
what happened to 99-Dadashov? Injured? Has been MIA for the last 4 games, basically all Feb games. while 99-Yalcin seems to have lost some steam since his early start for Besiktas, still starting plenty of games which is good for his dev.
The French Football Federation are looking to get Groningen defender Julian Chabot to switch from Germany. The 21-year-old has played for Germany up to U-20 level. #FFF #DFB— Ronan Murphy (@swearimnotpaul) March 6, 2019
Suspected fibula fracture for Daniel Caliguri https://www.ligainsider.de/mobile/daniel-caligiuri_274/verdacht-auf-wadenbeinbruch-265526/
Caliguri out 4-6 weeks Injury update:Thankfully Daniel #Caligiuri hasn't fractured his leg, but has suffered a high ankle sprain. He will be out for approximately four to six weeks. Get well soon, Cali! #s04 pic.twitter.com/usJxpzAYw6— FC Schalke 04 (@s04_en) March 9, 2019
Robin Gosens is open to playing for both Germany and Holland if given the chance http://www.fussballtransfers.com/bundesliga/gosens-schwarmt-vom-bvb-interesse-noch-aktuell_101709
we couldn't bother call up 01-Memisevic since Prus preferred false 9 and today he scored a hat trick for Bremen U19. 6 goals in 8 games in U19 this season.
how long before 00-Batmaz gets a Turkey recall and gets provisionally capped tied by Turkey? Batmaz scored 4 goals yesterday in a 5-1 win and with that he jumps to the top of the U19 Sud/Sudwest scoring table tying Breunig at 15 goals each. Turkey already took Aydinel, Uzun and Kutucu who are in the top of the scoring table of the U19 West add Batmaz and they get another striker who's doing well. His 1st team Karlsruher are in contention for 2BL promotion, so we could see Batmaz playing 2BL next season.
97-Zelalem headed to MLS. https://www.mlssoccer.com/post/2019/03/09/report-sporting-kc-reach-deal-midfielder-gedion-zelalem ex German Youth International, now with USA. A triple national too as he's also Ethiopian. recall there being tons of hype around him when younger but that seems to be the fact towards any German-American. Tons of hype from American media but like Green doesn't seem to have done much.
Sambou a triple national who has yet to play for anyone and still playing for Everton U23, his coach was shocked that there was no interest in him for a Winter loan, even with good performances. Yikes.....shows an issue with EPL2..... https://www.tribalfootball.com/arti...-to-loan-out-bassala-sambou-4270849#popup-sso speaking of ex EPL2 player, 99-Bennetts of Gladbach II seems to have had a unproductive season also affected by injuries. Seems like he turned down a chance to play for Nigeria in U20 WC in order to focus on his club since he returned from injury. https://www.futaa.com/article/173406/bennetts-will-not-be-part-of-flying-eagles-squad I do wonder if Bennetts (not provisionally capped by anyone) if he breakthrough 1st team? Next season withe Europe, that means more matches. Bennetts is one of the II players like Musel and a few others who is close to the 1st team.
Germany U17 play 3 qualifiers this March so chance to provisionally cap tie the following players. Atubolu, Can Aydin, Calhanoglu, Dardai, Koudelka, Adeyemi, Samardzic, M.Tillman, Meyer (seems to have a British mother) while Igor Matanovic who last played with Croatia, got his 1st Germany call up in U16.
