you made a mistake, Karaman was subbed out and the sub Raman is the who scored the winner.

understandable Karaman vs Raman both raman in their names.

it's interesting that Fortuna have 3 German duals who don't play for Germany.
2 who play for Turkey (Karaman and Ayhan) and 1 who plays for the USA (Morales).

and those 3 started today's 2-1 win with Morales assisting the winner.

Mlapa scores his 7th goal of the season in a 4-2 win, he scored the 3rd and winner.

looking at his past seasons, his highest scoring season ever was with Bochum in 2BL back in 2016-2017 with 8 goals. So he seems like he'll get his best season yet as a striker.

the next German-Togo striker is Etienne Amenyido who so far has struggled in pro level.

Kutucu played some scrap minutes in Schalke's win today. His 3rd 1BL game and 4th game as a pro.

while just noticed that 02-Shuranov played the last FCN U19 game this season in a 3-2 win where he played 66 min. The U17 Sud/Sudwest top scorer looks to be making progress.

seems to be going on 6 month loan. Always wondered why he never settled anywhere? Barca will be KPB's 10th club as a pro, having played in 1BL, EPL, Serie A and La Liga.

KPB is a weird one. I think his best days were with Las Palmas and Eintracht Frankfurt but seems like he's never fully on board with the club he joins. That goes for his tenure with the Ghana NT too. Guess he might bring depth and experience to Barca.

always got the impression that KPB is a headcase.

he also said that he left Frankfurt because his family was comfortable in Italy only to go to Spain half a year later.

seems like there are German-Brits (including a good amount who are triple) in every age groups.
    96-Holtby, Hirst
    97-Sambou,Okoroji, N.Wahling
    98-L.Nmecha, Dahmen
    99-K.Bennetts, O.Wahling
    00-F.Nmecha
    01-Glatzel, Dele-Bashiru, J.Bennetts
    02-Jordan Meyer, C.Wahling
    03-Musiala, Mbi

    Maybe I'm missing names???
could easily see more from 00-03 age groups that aren't as open knowledge as well.

one also notices that Nmecha, Bennetts and Wahling are 3 families with footballing brothers which is why the list is bigger than it would otherwise be, that's 7/17 with those names.

you also got plenty of older ones like Lewis Holtby, Hunt and a bunch of others.

speaking of German-Brits, F.Nmecha will travel with Man City for the League Cup game. SF Leg 1 Man City won 9-0, so could be the game that Nmecha finally makes his pro debut.

made the bench twice this season although still no debut.

still not provisionally capped by any country. Last update was from his brother that Felix prefers Germany and he wasn't even involved with England U19 Euro qualifiers either that took place in Nov.

-KPB made his Barca debut in the Copa del Rey playing 63 min in a 2-0 loss.

-Enrique Pena Zauner finally got provisionally capped tied by Venezuela U20, took forever for it to happen. As he played today 26 min off the bench in a 1-0 win for 10 men Venezuela vs Bolivia. Venezuela seems to be in good condition to make the U20 WC.

but have to say it doesn't look that great for Zauner that he can't even breakthrough Venezuela U20 XI. Although Dortmund bought Balerdi for $15M and he also isn't even in Argentina's XI, 2/2 games unused bench CB.

-Boenisch Interview, still no club since July 2017 seems like he's not retiring.

Hamburg keep loaning in players. Ozcan will be the 4th loan. Currently 3/3 loan players are XI starters. How exactly is loaning in players from other clubs going to help you in 1BL next season? Instead of wasting time on Ozcan they should develop their own players. Hamburg Academy is becoming a joke.

they got no qualms about playing guys from other clubs but can barely play their own.

when are clubs going to learn that you need permanent players, loans are nothing but temporary solution.

Ozcan to Hamburg ended up as a permanent transfer. Much better than more loans farce.

lol at him abandoning a sicking ship of Stuttgart to go to a club that is likely to get 1BL promotion. It was kind of obvious that he had no place at Stuttgart, it's one reason why Turkish clubs were trying to snatch him up.

Australia who were the Champs were eliminated by UAE in QF in a 1-0 loss in Asian Cup.

seems like 1 German triple national is on their team.
97-Alex Gersbach who is born in Australia to a German father and Greek mom.

was an unused bench player in every game of the tournament. Also made the CC17 squad.

there has been other German duals in Australia most famous is retired GK Mark Schwarzer, Australia's NT most capped player in their history, also participated in 2 WCs. He also played 6 1BL games and 514 EPL games. Born in Australia to German parents who had emigrated 4 years before his birth.

never rated Boyd but I do think it sucks when you can never really know how a player would have turned out if it wasn't for their injury proneness, always injured.

the Parker brothers are also guys who's whole careers are injuries. Shawn turns 26 soon and hasn't done much in his career, only 2 years younger than Bpyd.

Shawn Parker showed decent potential back in the 2012/13 season as a 19-20 y/o with Mainz but injuries destroyed his career after. Also a pretty constant youth NT member with strong scoring rate between U16-20 levels. Pretty much a lost player now.

I think current S.Parker seems like a 2BL ceiling player.

looks like Hadzic is being credited with his 1st assist in 1BL vs Dortmund.
    https://streamja.com/RvGk

he's only played 22 min over 3 games this season in 1BL
