Farke's Norwich wins 2-1 to move up to #12 in the table with 11 pts after 8 games. Only 2-4 pts separating them and the 4 playoff spots. Still a long season for them, they always seem to concede goals, even some games they dominated and yet they still have issues.

I don't rate Robin Dutt, he's kind of a fraud tbh. But somehow he's getting this Bochum squad to be competitive in the 2BL for a second season in a row. Could be a contender for promotion if they can keep this up.

Wormuth today with a formation for Heracles I havenot seen in the Netherlands in 50 years, a 4-2-4. But he won and is still in shared 2nd place with Feyenoord and Ajax. Heracles scored more goals than either Feyenoord or Ajax. Only PSV scored more goals. The defense on the other hand is a bit leaky with already 14 goals against! https://teletekst-data.nos.nl/webtekst?p=819

First time posting here. Since this is the German coaches discussion thread I think this is the best place to post this. I've noticed that so far the only contemporary German coach who's won major international trophies is Joachim Löw (2014 World Cup and 2017 Confederations Cup). The last German coach to win a European Championship is Otto Rehhagel with Greece in 2004, and the last German coach to win a Champions League is Jupp Heynckes with Bayern in 2013, both part of the Old Guard of German coaches. The only contemporary German coach who's come closest to winning a major international trophy apart from Löw is Jürgen Klopp (2013 with BVB, 2016 and 2018 with Liverpool). Apart from Klopp's agonizing near-misses no other German coach from recent generations has had any noteworthy accomplishments internationally. It's another thing that bothered me about Bayern's 2013 Champions League victory, that German football had to once again rely on the Old Guard to win a major international trophy. Had BVB won the Champions League that season it would've sent a more hopeful message that the new generation of German coaches is ready to deliver. I sincerely hope Klopp breaks his hoodoo and starts winning Cup Finals, especially international trophies, as I'm sick of everyone mocking him over it. I don't expect Tuchel to win any international trophies, much less with a PSG side plying its trade in the farmers league A.K.A. Ligue 1, especially after experiencing as a BVB fan how he only seems concerned with showing how smart and innovative he is, pragmatism be damned. Let's hope boy prodigy Julian Nagelsmann lives up to the potential he's shown and wins major international trophies a few years down the road, with BVB of course.
