Agreed, would be interesting to see him in the BL, never really imagined him there but he could be very serviceable. Athletic, physical, good on the ball...would be nice to see where his at in this stage of his career.

Already on it, boss! I've been throwing wet blankets around, left, right, and center. We'll see of that's enough to return us to the path of the rightly guided. If not, I'll delete stuff.

Edit: Ah, wait. I see that my request has already been ignored. Time to delete. Thanks for the heads up!

I've deleted everything that was posted after the cease and desist warning. Further discussion of politics that doesn't have directly to do with Cameron's club career will be deleted and may result in a ban from this thread.

Has there been any substantiated info other than clubs interested in Spain, Germany, and Italy?

I'm honestly surprised La Liga and Bundesliga clubs are interested. It's be great if a Serie S club caught his interest.

No Cameron again today, as Stoke take on Preston North End.

Stoke was thrashed 3 - 0 by Wigan. Cameron looking better each game so far by not being a part of this train wreck.

Probably trying to encourage him to find a new home while making sure he doesn’t pick up an injury. They probably want to shed his wages.

If I'm Cameron, I'm laughing all the way to the bank right now. Not playing for a team that absolutely stinks, collecting a hefty wage and staying in shape on the training pitch ain't a bad way to live a life, especially at his age.

I was assuming they'd done what you do when relegated, gotten younger and cheaper with an eye on rebuilding. but looking at their roster, maybe he's seen as too young to get much game time?

    Wouldn't you be? Wouldn't anyone?

Your last shot at a World Cup gone because the coach couldn't set up the team to get one point against a team that was already eliminated. In my case I'd be f*#king murderous.

Peter Crouch is still there so, yes, he probably is regarded as too young

Two more years in his contract. I'd pull a Constanza and keep showing up for training to get paid even if no one talks to me.

I'm thinking it would be great to land in the Scottish Premier league

If you say that landing in the SPL is a great thing for a player there are many things going on inside your head, but thinking definitely isn't one of them.

I said last year Geoff was done. That prolonged head injury under Sparky was the end of it. The rest is just falling action.

is his wages really that high that the club is trying to offload him or is it more that the manager doesn't want him there anymore?

The club (and Cameron) for sure were talking about a move. I know earlier the summer Geoff had to go home due to his Dad's health issues. I can't imagine, if Stoke have to pay Cameron they won't use him - their D looks terrible in the highlights I bothered to look at - but I'd guess they are still looking to offload the wages, if possible.

Cameron could help them in the short term, but there's no long term dividend out of him.
