Sparky playing musical chairs at this point. Stoke need to clean house or they are going down next year. Get used to watching gcam playing in Houston orange again. Howdy end of your career.

you really think he's gonna be let go? I'd imagine he's on cheap wages and they couldn't find someone so consistent for such low pay otherwise he'd not play as much as he did.

Saw a quote today: "I'll be staying at Stoke 'cause who'd want this job?"

They should keep Sparky, I have a feeling he'd do well in the Championship.

It certainly have future implications on Geoff Cameron for the reminder of the 2017-18 season (and beyond).

I don't know how deep the implications are for Geoff beyond this season, he looks done to me.

Tony Pulis was appointed by Middlesbrough as the new manager a while back.

Recent form, long injuries the past two seasons, one of them being a concussion that lasted weeks. He has been a professional, and always gave a good shift. I really have enjoyed watching his career, but he is beginning to look past it to my eye.

The concussion thing gives me great concern for his long term health. I just don't want to see him confined to a wheelchair and drooling on himself at 55.

Just my opinion, not based on anything but observation and genuine concern for a guy who has been a great professional. He has always represented his shirt to the best of his abilities.

Gcam so versatile on and off the pitch has been named interim coach, starting RB, CB, DM and hair stylist. That's your modern day renaissance man.

    Hair today, gone tomorrow?

I'd expect they keep a quiet, probably not-too-overpriced and seemingly well respected vet around for a minute during transition. Very few people seem to be in a hurry to get Geoff out of the lockerroom. But careers don't last forever. Hope the concussion doesn't make him cut short too early, but I more hope he doesn't play too long if it has long term effects. It's got to be hard to stop though.

With 162 league appearances, he's done pretty well considering it's Stoke.

I missed this...but hammy injury in FA Cup game last week, pulled in the 52’ vs Coventry City.

Not in the 18 today vs ManU.

52' Cameron looks likes he's picked up a hamstring problem, Crouch replaces him and there's a change in formation (1-0) #SCFC

H didn't look very good to me, although Stoke look much better and got out of the drop zone. Lambert looks to take this chance to revive his career and Stoke will probably stay up around 12-13 in the PL.

One off the drop three out of ten. Watford in ten days. I said when Geoff had the severe concussion he needed to think about this being his last year and everything since then has only reinforced that opinion.

Each new manager benched Cameron and he always managed to get his spot back. This time I don't see it happening. His contract is until June 2020 though.

he'll also be 33 this summer isn't exactly young anymore and his health issues don't help either.
