Yup: I understand Stoke City's @GeoffCameron is out of #SCFC's game at Watford due to a concussion after a collision in training | #USMNT— Joe Prince-Wright (@JPW_NBCSports) October 28, 2017
Same thing this week Geoff Cameron remains out with concussion after suffering an injury in training eight days ago, but Peter Crouch is an option after missing last week's game with an on-going back problem. The Stoke City boss continued: "Geoff Cameron is still unavailable unfortunately. He's still suffering with concussion. His scores are down in terms of the protocol we have to go through. It's taking longer than we thought. "We always feel more confident when Geoff is around given his versatility. http://www.stokesentinel.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/stoke-city-fans-urged-bet365-724735
Indeed. He confidently can cover 5 or 6 positions for them. Also he typically does better when he is first thrown in the fire than when he is given a long run out at the position. Keeps aware or something.
Still out: MH: Geoff Cameron is still not available. It's taken a little bit longer than we anticipated for him to return. You have to be careful with head injuries and need to do the correct things.— Stoke City FC (@stokecity) November 16, 2017

Even better news: Tottenham stopped scoring when he came in. They were up 5-0 already, though, so they just took the foot off the gas.
Awaiting team news for Burnley game today. I did watch his 15 minutes over the weekend, came in down 5-0, played CM. Roamed around as always, couple rusty touches and damn does he like to ball watch.....
I'll give him the benefit of the post-concussion doubt. No athlete who's had his/her "bell rung" is anxious to have it happen again. It must be a sobering thought for a pro athlete knowing one more bad knock could end a career.
Well, it's Stoke. They're the paragon for uninteresting, a team everybody knows will finish mid-table, without the excitement of fighting for a Champion's spot, and without the interest generated by the relegation survival battle. They're the equivalent of a cold, rainy night, in European football. Grim, boring, and you'll be grateful when it's over.
The article from the Daily Telegraph UK - it was published yesterday - could have implications on Geoff Cameron. geoff was RCB in a 3 man back line. Goal was because Shawcross allowed his man to get inside of him and shoot. My guess is he needs to be shown the door. Thanks for the career.
