A lot will depend on what they do with Ziyech and Corona in the remainder of this transfer window. Porto have just placed a bid of €10 Mio for Corona, but Twente want €15 Mio. Link Very promising young talent but with those additional funds, they can continue to rebuild and bring in several more pieces if they reinvest a portion of those revenues wisely.

The thing is he would have had that playing time at Heerenveen and Heerenveen would have been able to probably even challenge Ajax for 2nd place last season if they had Ziyech on their squad.

    Slagveer - Ziyech - Larsson
    Uth

Would have been just amazing to watch.

  3. That's the problem, no financial room to invest, as the debt is staggering. It seems even worse than Feyenoord dire situation a few years ago.

Another setback for Twente as they lose the first derby match up of the season against Heracles. Fans getting increasingly restless with the coach. Several groups waited outside the training complex after the game, however the team bus took an alternate route to avoid confrontation.

Man, Immers, would be nice to convert a chance once in a while.

PSV leading and the better team so far.

Van der Linden is probably the best CB in the eredivisie when it comes to build up. His passing is fantastic, too bad he can't defend.

Look quickly at the table. HERACLES!!!!! Yes, the club from Alemo dispatched PSV 2-1 with relative ease to go first.

I think Twente's firing of Schreuder is the right decision. It removes a lot of the negativity surrounding the club environment, especially with the supporters who have been calling for his head for quite some time now. They're still looking for their first win of the season though. Last week was a close one, bit surprised they were able to draw 2-2 with Ajax but many encouraging signs after that result. Yesterday versus Cambuur was a match they really needed to win to jump start their campaign but unfortunately couldn't get on the score board. Their interim coach, Rene Hake felt they were robbed of a penalty that should have been rewarded to them.

Twente finally win their first match of the season. Despite all the adversity team has faced, Hidde ter Avest remains one of their most consistent players. Another youngster, Jari Oosterwijk scores in his first feature with the starting XI.

  14. He was quite interesting to watch, I must say.

Apparently Utrecht players do not like hard work. This is a symptom of the Dutch soccer defects. That's a coach who has proven to the prestigious Bayern , which wants to implement the methods of this club in Utrecht and his players instead of following him, reluctant .

Let's don't forget What happened to Feyenoord last year after Immers got injured. They were in touching distance only to losse momentum in last few rounds.

Really don't care much for the Chelsea B players on loan, but Vitesse's Kevin Diks continues to make strides this season. He's been one of the top young RBs in the league. That winger they signed, Milot Rashica also looks like a good talent.

I enjoyed the Ajax- Vitesse and Feyenoord-Az games today. Among the best matches in the season so far. Also very touching the gesture in all games for our number 14

Dirk Kuyt , top scorer of Eredivisie !!!He's a player I really like , but seeing him overfly like that the championship is troubling. In recent years , he had lost his instinct for goal He was used more for his fighting spirit and passion . But even an old Dirk Kuyt seems too hard for the defenders of the Eredivisie

That first goal of him was a tribute to football intelligence. First he made himself available for the player to throw the ball in and then he passed it back to him. While this player moves up to the PA, and Dirk moves in the direction of Kramer, Kramer makes a "run" and draws with him the defender, while in the process pointing to the player to pass it to Kuyt, who in the move by Kramer was left unguarded. The finish by Dirk was impeccable.
Kramer time after time shows how smart a player he is, thus ridiculing those "kenners", putting him down as a one trick (=header) pony. His ADO coach Fraser already said when he moved to Feyenoord, that he was a far better player then people gave him credit for.
