What an awesome way to see out the final derby at Gerland. 3-0 vs St Etienne and a hat trick for Lacazette to kickstart his season.

Also Robert Beric ruptured his ACL and will be out 6 months. Huge loss as he was a goal scoring machine. A club like that with lack of depth cant overcome a loss like that like OL can with Fekir.

well, we've been struggling to overcome nabilon's absence.

ASSE is trying to put ferri in the pillory for injuring beric but if the yellow was warranted it was far from the nastiest foul of the night. la faute à pas de chance.

Well its sad because Beric was fun to watch and now they have to lean heavily on 19 yr old Neal Maupay for goals.

Maupay is only 19 but he has been around since 2012. Injuries have cost him so much though :(

Montanier must be happy they got a great midfielder Yoann Gourcuff. Montanier is one of my favorite french coaches Rennes has some people lined up this winter transfers Rennes should play for a europa spot or higher
don't they want to kick fire Montanier ?!?

actually OL, without being brilliant, had the upper hand for most of the first half, and if beauvue was a better player could have had the game sewn up by HT. but losing 3-0 can be almost completely attributed to one player: yanga-mbiwa. he was the primary culprit on all three goals, and the second, one of the most incomprehensible own goals ever seen, was the instant that murdered any chance for us. but far beyond that he was responsible for numerous other moments the gym didn't capitalize on. in his marking, his positioning, his engagement, his concentration, passing... in all compartments and at practically every moment he was shocking. a 10 million euro gold plated turd.

I blame the TCL* - mapou should have been run over by a bus two months ago.

I knew Fekir, Lacazette, Valbuena all been hit by different degrees of injuries problem this season, but Hubert Fournier could really be the next one under the axe.
