title secured by psg , this season was so underwhelming, no challenges , psg just cruised to the finish line.

i hope other clubs step it up next season,

Outside of P$G, the league is incredibly even, and ththis is one of the most competitive campaigns in recent memory. Only 5 points separate 3rd from 8th. 6 points separate 14th from the hypothetical last Europa League spot. As a neutral, Ligue 1 - outside of P$G - has been wonderful this year.

Biggest problem with French clubs is the omnipotency of their presidents - they always think they can manage the sport part because they also manage the money and-you-know-money-is-power.

That's changing because Aulas said he's hiring a sporting director soon. Not sure why he waited so long to do that and probably only did it because of their failed Summer 2015 recruitment.

Between any given day you can find stuff where it says the owner isnt selling or is selling or wants to sell and cant find a buyer. Dont know what to believe expect for the "cant find a buyer" stuff. I dont care if Marseille is a poor city and corrupt, there are potential buyers up the wazoo probably. Just look at what clubs people buy for example.

Zlatan is unbelievable good, 30 league goals in 26 games this season. The undisputed best player in Ligue 1 by a mile.

Thiago Silva has been phenomenal all season too. Defenders usually don't get the recognition they deserve, but he would be my first pick for player of the season.

Huge game this week featuring the clash of Lyon and Monaco, this match would decide which side to get an automatic spot for the next season Championship League competition, a lot of glory and money to fight for this match.

i think the key factor will be...

me. and 60,000 people like me. ASM who's used to playing in front of less fervor than you hear at ES Trinité down the block is in for a surprise. i hate having to go halfway to geneva to watch matches but i have to admit the atmosphere in décines is sick.

I agree but do you really think OL is going to rep France any better ? They finish 2nd and it will be the same crappy recruitment as last year with a lame coach. Im sure there's some overrated French players ala Valbuena who are playing abroad that Aulas is dying to bring back.
