i think above all you need to review your prediction for rennes. or was that a misprint?

i'm really just curious: why did you pick them so high? i just don't see it.

They have a lot of players to integrate. They will get better. Plus its possible they could pull a surprise ie Toulalan or Gourcuff. :)

My venture into the prediction game:

    1. PSG
    2. OM
    3. Lille

    18. Evian
    19. Guingamp
    20. Lens

OM 2nd is sketchy. They have major defensive problems that still havent been addressed.

    Rio Mavuba wants out
I just shake my head when I read this stuff. His main focus should be trying to do all he can to try to help Lille get to the Champions League group stages and instead hes thinking about going to the Gulf probably to cash in. Pathetic.

He might be trying to cash out or he might think that this is his last chance to play in a different league and have that experience.

Yeah if Valbuena couldnt get into one of the top leagues then Mavuba is headed straight for Qatar or the UAE.

Valbuena is tiny and he got pushed around at the WC. The PL refs let players play very physical football. Mavuba is player more suited for PL than Valbuena

Bielsa cant bring in who he wants. Forced to sell certain players by management (Valbuena,Amalfitano, Mendes,) in order to bring in cheaper players. Nothing has changed over there. French teams are crippled by the DCNG and high taxes.

St. Etienne's moves are risky and Metz replaced their top goal scorer with a South American and that hasnt worked for some teams in the past.

    Metz : N'Gog en renfort offensif ? (18/08/2014)

Not really worried about Bastia. Still wondering when Lens are getting that 4m from Mammadov. :giggle:
