Lovren has signed for Southampton for of €10m + incentives.

Corchia is believed to be incoming shortly, as is Gael Danic.

Typical EPL overpaying for mediocre/average foreigners. OL fleeced Southampton. 10m for a guy who had a subpar season. Bravo.

No caps since moving to Spain. Playing for Rennes would give him a good chance to get back in the international picture assuming he cares about that. Also Rennes have wealthy owner so his salary shouldnt be a problem. Also looks like they arent keeping Alou Diarra so he can slide into his spot.

The "no caps" I think would have way more to do with the actions of Toulalan and his "lawyer" during Knysna and the fact that he's over 30 than with playing in Spain.

I think caps do matter to him, isn't that why he went to Malaga in the first place?

Rennes has a salary cap: no player over 100k/month. They only made an exception for Mvila. I don't see a single reason why Toulalan would go to Rennes.

I'd love to see La Toule back in Ligue 1. Great player.

Blah. I'll take him over anyone Lille or Bordeaux has at that same position. Heck, he could even start for Marseille. Gignac ? Lol come on now. You need to realize how poor the quality of strikers is in L1. A guy like Aubameyang will have 1 great year and then will leave. A proven goal scorer like Cisse coming in for a crappy low budget team is a blessing for Montpellier. Nolan Roux is rumored to replace Aubameyang. You really would rather have Nolan Roux over Cisse lol ? I dont care about age, Roux is younger but hasnt done squat.

We're talking about Djibril Cisse.. lol He hasn't been good since Panathinaikos tbh, atleast 10 goals a season good, and I don't expect him to score more than 8 in L1 imo, but eh we'll see.

10 goals wouldnt be bad. Mutu is a few years older and he had 11 playing for a crap team and Montpellier are better than Ajaccio.
