I'm glad he's going to get a taste of the Scottish game. A poor man's EPL but a great way to learn the rough physical side of the game
Scottish players are known to be larger only to the ignorant. They invented the original tiki taka style to beat the English because they are so undersized. Even today, size and athleticism are known to be problems in the Scottish player pool. Even the "enforcers" are rarely above 6', compared to some national teams like France, Brazil, England, Germany, etc., who have numerous 6'-ers in their sides. The difference is especially stark when looking at non-defending positions. It is a markedly less athletic league than MLS. It's scrappy, but less purely violent than MLS or any place in CONCACAF. It's less physical than the English Football League system as well, where you have a lot of physically powerful and fast players. This myth is getting ridiculous. Most injuries that have affected Celtic are muscle injuries and the result of primeval physical fitness tactics and training, not challenges.
Look on the bring side, the guys that play football in Scotland enjoy the best golf courses in the world in their off time. Maybe GZ is a golfer.

Why isn't triple rep possible? If his body delivers - and holds out - he's got a great future whether he makes the EPL or not. Wish I was his agent.
That wasn't too bad. So far loan looks pretty good and no idea about GZ at Arsenal, but sure looks to have a skillset that could be useful in the US midfield some time soon.
I was thinking a different kind of disgusting. Looks like he handled it well. Does Rangers have any goons to protect him?
Meh. He will see worse kicks than that in Central America and in the Caribbean in CONCACAF qualifiers.
Is it possible they'll use video evidence after the fact to punish that foul? Does that happen at this level?
