Ariyibi is closing in on a pretty terrible record: both teams that he played for this season are on the verge of being relegated.
https://www.northamptonchron.co.uk/sport/cobblers-send-loan-trio-back-to-parent-clubs-1-8448913 Apparently injured. Good find!
Rough year for every team associated with him. Chesterfield got relegated out of the Football League, MK Dons and Northampton both got relegated from League One, Leeds finished a boring midtable, Forest a little worse, Southampton narrowly avoided relegation, and Tranmere failed to win automatic promotion. Not a great collection of seasons there.
Looks like he started for the U23s a few days ago: Here’s the teamsheet and Gboly Ariyibi is included in the Forest side. #nffc pic.twitter.com/vqvkdSXYDq— Baz Cooper (@bazdjcooper) April 27, 2018
England has not been too kind to this guy. Maybe he should find another country to play in? I remember being impressed in that u20 or u23 game he played against England...maybe he's an under-the-rader guy that could follow the romain gall, amon path and go to scandanavia....?
Speculation on his destination: Gboly Ariyibi is close to joining Rotherham United on loan. #nffc #rufc— Clive Forshaw (@Clive_Forshaw) July 9, 2018
