you dont waste a starting spot on a game breaking offensive sub like lovitz. coming off the bench late when we are tied or trailing...is a thing that has happened. multiple times.
Our starting line up is: --------------Borjan----------- Laryea--Henry--Vitoria--Kaye Arfield--Piette-Oso-Davies --------Cavallini-David--------- Not sure how I feel about Kaye at left back, but he's been serviceable there in the past. It's not his best position, but he's probably better than Miller there. I like the Cavallini start, he'll probably make a good partnership with David. Arfield has played plenty of wide midfield with Rangers and Burnley, but we'll see how Canada actually looks game time. Arfield may tuck inside with Layrea providing the width. On the left, Davies will probably be the wide man, with Kaye playing more conservative.
Well Im amazed he starts "Skunk" Zardes. The guy that plays with Trapp on a playoff missing team while both Sargent and Yedlin, playing in higher leagues, ride the bench. I wonder how many minutes Skunk gets before Egg gives him the hook? I think I will cheer for Canada to embarrass us bigtime. The only way Ernie and Gregg will get fired is if we really suck. Actually we do but another loss tonight would really help grease the wheels to get them out. I would take Klinsmann or Bradley back at this point in a heartbeat

Ream is a CB with Fulham. I guess this is basically giving up on the LB position and just playing with three CBs there. Arriola is going to have to go at it alone.

Ok, ok, they have a bias. I wanted to see Morales, you know that. But, come on, let's be honest: Morales has never looked that good with the NT. And at least Trapp is not around. Thanks goodness for small favors. Sargent as a super-sub is an idea I can get behind. What I don't get is not starting Yedlin: guy's in good form, and could create mucho problemo on the sides. This game was for a 3CBs plus 2wingbacks (Yedlin and Dest).
I feel like he should just run an bunch of actual circles around Ream for a few minutes like the Roadrunner until Ream auger-bits into the ground like Wile E. and then Davies can BeepBeep in on goal.
