Sorry for them, but sounds like an inside job. Who knew they'd be at that restaurant, and that the guy would leave that kind of money in his truck, under the seat no less? Also don't know for the life of me how going to a tournament can cost $15,000. And the stories disagree about the amount of money - one place it is "over $3,000" and another place it is "$2,400". Which is it?

Travel to FL from NYC area is about $300 in gas each way, two adults to drive and four to six players per car. $15,000 for a tournament in OKC from GA? Really?

Please be careful, it says the donations are tax deductible, but there is no mention of 501(c) registration. That can be looked up if anyone is interested in donating.

    They should do this instead:

(and they are #4 in the country not #1, but I guess that shouldn't matter)

Ooooohhhh ... whole HOURS of work were lost without payment. Welcome to the real world, where all salaried jobs are like that!!!!

And forgive me, but standing on street corners holding up signs so other people can give YOU the money which THEY actually worked hard to earn, is NOT itself "hard work."
