Re: My toplist, what do you think?

That´s right, I forgot about Garay, he should be there. But what do you think about the list? Who is too high and who is too low, who should be there etc.

Would be great with more opinions!

Re: What do you think about..

    Thanks for reply.

Do you have an opinion on who of the mentioned talents from the youth side that could be good players for the senior team with time, some of them got the special talent, like Gago, Banega etc.

And do you think you can grab the title in this close Apertura championship race, or are the team too unstable at this point?

Re: My toplist, what do you think?

I decided not to include goalkeepers on the list, hard to judge them against outfield players i think.

Garay should be pretty high on the list, no dout about that.

Paletta were a disaster in Liverpool, and it´s hard to make an opinion on him.

What place do you think the players you mentioned should have on the list?

Re: My toplist, what do you think?

Paletta wasn't a disaster he barely played. He still has loads of talent and potential. He's played quite well for Boca Juniors so far.

I think Garay should definitely be top 10 and probably Ustari as well but you don't want to include goal keepers. Paletta should be somewhere 20-25 and the others somewhere after that.

I think Lautaro Acosta is too high. Both Neri Cardozo and Augusto Fernandez should be ahead of him.

Pretty comprehensive list, I think Higuain is to high, he still has a lot to prove in my opinion and Garay should have been included, otherwise a good list. I also think Zarate is way to high, he has been a major dissapointment (imho).

Re: My toplist, what do you think?

Paletta was a disaster at Liverpool. Why do you think he hardly got any playing time? He wasn´t good enough at that time. And when he played he had big problems with the tempo, and made some bad mistakes.

That said, I agree he is a good talent, he was pretty good in U20WC 2005, and he seems to be more safe on his own attributes in the argentinian league. Maybe he can get his selfesteem back when playing in Argetnina, and he will try his luck in Europe again in a couple of years.

    Re: New star from Argentina

    Diego Valeri (Wide Midfielder, Lanus)
Pablo Piatti (Wide Midfielder/Support Striker, Estudiantes)
    German Denis (Striker, Independiente)
    Darío Cvitanich (Striker, Banfield)
Ever Banega (Defensive Midfielder, Boca Juniors)
Augusto Fernandez (Attacking Midfielder, River Plate)

Some of these aren't necessarily that new but all of them have impressed me recently.

Keep an eye out for Arsenal's Ale Gomez.

The kid's been amazing since playing with the U-17 national team.
He's got the ball control of Aimar, the size of Messi, and the fight of Tevez.

Why he's not starting regularly for the copa sudamerican champions is beyond me...

Angel di Maria has been sublime for Benfica. Better than Simao and he is only 19 great player.

He's been hot and cold. I personally think that he will be better than Simao, one day. To say he's better than him now is just nonsense.

So Di Maria is doing good, that's good news it's weird that they hardly say anything about him in here, he has a lot of national team potential.

Messi is no star, no doubt, but the way Argentina and Messi are doing right now there is no way that Argentina will win a World Cup for decades.

Falcao is Colombian. Banega has recently been linked with a move to Valencia seems very skillfull. Isnt Ismael Sosa the brother of Jose Sosa???

Is that the kid that is tall and is a center forward? Well ya I heard he is to be the next Bati. Other than that....well what happened to this kid Lauretenio or something that scored alot of goals and he was only 11? My god how can our tiny country produce so many monsters, they rollin' out on conveyer belts.

Anyone can tell me about the defenders Musacchio from River, Faccioli from Lanus and Tobio from Velez? all of them are 89-90 born.

Well isnt Musacchio the one who was supposed to sign for Real Madrid recently?

He's supposed to be a hot prospect for the future (a central back). Though i dont know much about him unfortunately.

About Faccioli, he seems to be a regular starter at Lanus. Regularly called with the u-20 team.

    Never heard about Tobio. Sorry.
