Spain demolished Italy 3 to 0. With the addition of some young blood they are looking good again. They played without a striker with Isco as a false 9 and it didn't look like a problem at all.

France was held to a goalless draw to Luxemburg!! And congrats to Belgium for punching their ticket to Russia'18!! And the US is in a shitty position, I don't see them winning in Honduras and I see them going to a 4th place playoff!!

I know that CONCACAF qualifying is very different from UEFA qualifying, but a side with just two wins and two draws from seven games would be out of contention already in UEFA. The fifth round of CONCACAF qualifying is very forgiving.

Their weakest area are their fullbacks. But even those 2 are above average.

If one is honest, with the way the last 6 months have gone, its fair to say Saul should probably play ahead of Iniesta.

Mane completely knocked out Ederson with a kick right on jaw. What an idiot. Absolutely reckless.

I was concerned about Danilo being in a back 3 with John Stones, but so far they've held their own

A totally legal goal disallowed and multiple wrongheaded offside decisions have apparently screwed us, but I only saw the first half, so I can't make a judgment on some of that.

UCL reffing has been piss poor for the last 3 years. Dortmund may have had an offsides not called in their favor in the build up on their first goal.

@MerlinRM probably had to buy a pair of new pants after that. Once he starts to get more playing time, it's a wrap.

I was watching the Barcelona game - Sunday 10:48 am - the stadium was empty!!!!
Apparently due to Catalonia voting to separate from Spain?
If Catalonia becomes another country, Barça will be in a separate league by itself?
