Paulinho looking like that Tite magic ability is starting to wear off. He has been poor lately.

I don't know if I agree. On the goal, that was the THIRD ball he lost in the defensive half due to Real pressing him.

That’s not saying much these days, Ronaldo isn’t much of a threat outside of his scoring ability.

Alves used to own Ronaldo in his prime. That was the running joke that even if he wasn't a great defender, he almost always got the better off Ronaldo. And if Ronaldo is old, Alves is even older.

Alves has been showing his age for a while now and that is concerning. I think he should transition to midfield full time these days.

Isnt Ronaldo the all time leading scorer in the classico for Madrid?

I dont think Alves can say he owned a guy who scored 17 goals in 29 games [something like that] against him.

It wasn't Alves responsibility to track him all over the field. When they were 1 x 1 Alves typically got the best of him. Mute the sound.

You can contain Ronaldo and keep him quiet for 90 minutes or he plays completely crap for 90 minutes and he can have a hattrick.

If he scored, he isn’t really contained but like @ celito said Alves isn’t going to track Ronaldo all over the pitch. 1 v 1 Alves has no trouble in most of the match up against Ronaldo.

Alves made Ronaldo his bitch even nutmegging him 3 times :ROFLMAO:

Interestingly enough, Ronaldo has a piss poor record vs Barca in La Liga games. I think it's something like 5 non PK goals.

Douglas Costa was the best player on the pitch IMO.

Douglas Costa was the best offensive player along with Son. Overall, Chiellini was the MOTM I felt. Well, actually the award should be given to Allegri. He showed how much a coach can affect the outcome of a match.
