"We need to beat Japan to qualify, but if we were able to defeat a good team like Cameroon, I don't see why we won't be able to beat the Japanese, even if we know it'll be difficult," striker Nicklas Bendtner said.

I love you Nicky! :D It's hat trick time! :)

Denmark beat Cameroon & so did Japan and they both lost to the Netherlands. They match up pretty evenly, should be a good game to watch.

Yep. Nicky thinks he's the best in the world though :D He's certainly class though, great striker, I love the kid and his exuberant and sometimes quite over-the-top confidence. :p

It's gonna be THE BEST GAME to watch because whoever loses is out. They are the only teams fighting each other for direct qualification, with no third parties involved as Netherlands is through and Cameroon is out. Absolute cracker of a game as that one guy says :p

Its Cavani :p And Bendtner isn't overrated. How is he overrated? When the responsibility of being the lone striker for Arsenal was given to him he got tired of scoring goals, including last minute ones in what would have been 0-0 draws. Bendtner is younger and he is doing better goalscoring wise at a big club like Arsenal while Cavani is doing just ok in Palermo. Big club vs mid-table Italian club. Plus he is the leading striker for his national team and scored twice vs Portugal ;)

And of course I rate him higher, Arsenal is my club, and any Arsenal player will always be top in my book. Oh and he is better than Cavani though, objectively speaking, better goal-scoring in a bigger club and more skill (even if it isn't that much).

And a lot of Arsenal fans hate him and most people don't rate him, so how is he overrated? :p He is great, he gets criticized every three seconds though.

you rate him so he is overrated by you:D

to be honest he really doesn't seem any better than Guerrero, from what I have seen

He is more of a goal scorer. Let me put up some qualities of strikers and rate by that:

    Goal-scoring
    1. Bendtner
    2. Cavani
    3. Guerrero

    Skill
    1. Guerrero
    2. Bendtner
    3. Cavani

Ability to play lone striker, hold the ball up
    1. Cavani
    2. Bendtner
    3. Guerrero

    Positional sense
    1. Bendtner
    2. Guerrero
    3. Cavani

    Ball Control
    1. Guerrero
    2. Bendtner (he fluctuates, sometimes he is amazing, i.e. vs Portugal, other times... meh. He needs to finish perfecting his game)
    3. Cavani

Ability to play lone striker is actually very close though. Guerrero can hold the ball up very well and with his skill doesn't lose it, while Bendtner does it extremely well and has the skill not to lose it or he just heads it back because of his height, but he hasn't fully evolved and sometimes his first touches are off. Cavani is a great lone striker from what i've seen, and is able to hold the ball up well.

Don't count your chickens yet :p Its football remember. I see Chile out in groups, and Paraguay won't reach quarters. Ghana will beat US on penalties.

Yea just like you said Paraguay wouldn't top the group nostradamus  you really don't like Paraguay do you?

Why wouldn't they reach the quarters? They can beat Japan and even Denmark. If Holland somehow gets 2nd then I can see why you would think Paraguay won't reach the quarters but the other 2 are beatable.

They can pass through, I just don't think they wont. Cameroon wont want to go out without a win, so I can see them winning and Denmark or Japan going first. And its not that I don't like Paraguay, its that I like Slovakia, the Netherlands, and Denmark better.;)
