Re: Futbol de HONDURAS, news & comments- part II what country is that ipswich team from? I think our defense will improve in a couple of years, with thomas, izaguirre, and keven hernandez leading the way.
Re: Futbol de HONDURAS, news & comments- part II Johnny he is really good, quick and great ball control. All the players like him as he is very humble due to his backgroound, so i thinkipswich got themselves a great player, hopefully up to the premier league nest year huh?
Re: Futbol de HONDURAS, news & comments- part II Honduran international Emilio Izaguirre will join the Blues for a trial over the weekend. Izaguirre, a left-sided full-back, wing-back or midfielder, currently plays with Club Deportivo Motagua in his home country. The 22-year-old will spend 10 days with Town hoping to impress Jim Magilton and his management team. In 2005 Izaguirre was part of the Honduran U20 team which took part in the FIFA World Youth Championships in Holland. Izaguirre has been capped 20 times by his full national side, scoring one goal. Izaguirre says he is very much looking forward to showing the Blues what he can do: “My agent told me that I must be with the team on Saturday because on Sunday they travel to Ireland for their pre-season tour. I will be on trial for 10 days and if everything goes well, I will sign a contract. “I’m very happy with this opportunity. It is a dream come true because I have always wanted to play abroad." Town are very much in the market for a left-back with the out-of-favour Dan Harding the only left-sided full-back currently at the club. If he signs, Izaguirre would become Town's first ever Honduran player. http://www.clubfanzine.com/ipswich_town/v2.showNews.php?id=11915
Re: Futbol de HONDURAS, news & comments- part II lol Ipswich is a team that can make a run for pormotion...i like his chances at Ipswich...cuz if he does very well there he can get bought maybe by a wigans or premiership team
Re: Futbol de HONDURAS, news & comments- part II NO he will take the staritng left back spot away from eric abidal in barca lol, mayb one day a honduran will play there and my life will be complete lol.
Re: Futbol de HONDURAS, news & comments- part II Hendry Thomas will no longer be joining Wigan after his application for a Work Permit was turned down
Re: Futbol de HONDURAS, news & comments- part II lol maybe when the kids from the school are talented and old enough which i hope they are lol
Re: Futbol de HONDURAS, news & comments- part II yea i saw about hendry, i hate the work permit thing, he is just going to go play a sport, it is retarded they didnt let him in.
Re: Futbol de HONDURAS, news & comments- part II We appealed the decision but that was turned down too. My brothers girlfriend is friends with the daughter of a former Liverpool player who sits on the panel that decides if a player should get a work permit or not. I'll be telling her to have words with him
Re: Futbol de HONDURAS, news & comments- part II o now i know they are scared he will be too good for liverpool to handle, lol.
Re: Futbol de HONDURAS, news & comments- part II wow =/...that sucks...i wonder whose gonna pursue him now, dont they have a feeder team or something to loan him out to??
Re: Futbol de HONDURAS, news & comments- part II It don't matter buddy... bigger and better thing to come!!! (not meaning better than wigan, love the lactics)
Re: Futbol de HONDURAS, news & comments- part II Nope we dont. Looks like that is the end of it, for now at least. I just hope we can get a work permit for Figuaroa
Re: Futbol de HONDURAS, news & comments- part II The reason Thomas didnt get a work permit seems to be that he has been playing for your Olympic team recently, rather than your full national side, and matches played for your Olympic squad dont count towards the criteria for qualifying for a work permit. It sucks
Re: Futbol de HONDURAS, news & comments- part II are u kidding me, he is the backup for amado and wilson, and imo he should start ove amado and i hate his team btw. So it doesnt make sense, he played for the olympic team for their quals but plays fulltime for the senior team, that is a whole lot of BS.
Re: Futbol de HONDURAS, news & comments- part II hendry played against columbia well he started which gives him a cap and a senior team spot so there must be another reason.
Re: Futbol de HONDURAS, news & comments- part II To get a work permit for England you need to have played 75% of your nations competitive games over the last 2 years as well as your nation being in the top 75 of the FIFA rankings. You can argue that the player is an "exceptional talent" and sometimes that works. If it was Manchester United who wanted a work permit for him they would probably get it.
