    From the article:
So it sounds as if Fiorentina has turned his contract into something of a pay-as-you-play deal, at least in part. A smart idea when dealing with an injury-prone player.

Usually hard to get a concession from a player, so they had to have done something (perhaps extended the contract term).

Liverpool are preparing a sizeable £18 million offer for Manchester United product and now Fiorentina forward Giuseppe Rossi, reports the Daily Star.

Rossi, who missed the entire 2014-15 season with a knee injury, has seen playing time difficult to come by thus far this campaign, and continues to slowly work his way back into top form.

When healthy though, the 28-year-old has the ability to be one of the most prolific strikers in Europe. According to his agent, Andrea Pastorello, Rossi is eager to see more action, which could make him receptive to Liverpool's rumoured bid.

If there's anyone who screams "NYCFC signing," it's Rossi.

If Levante doesn't work out I bet he goes to MLS. All the best Giuseppe!
