Looking forward to this match. I was wondering if anyone knows whether or not Andy Johnson is expected to be in the squad. I cannot stand the fact that I will have to wait till the 13th to see my cottagers play. How bout the rest of you?
I wonder why they didn't play the Manchester United game on Monday so that they could get it in before the international break.
Yea, I think they shoulda played the Man U game before the int'l break. Im really bummed at missing them this week, and then til the 13th.
Way too long to see the Whites play. Can't stand it. I believe the Man U match was postponed due to Man U's game in the Supercup vs. Zenit. What a waste that was.
Well, since we're playing Bolton at the Cottage I think we'll win this one. Bolton haven't looked very impressive. They beat up on Stoke City 3-1 at home, but lost away to NewCastle 0-1 and then drew West Brom 0-0 at home. Let's just keep our fingers crossed and hope nobody gets hurt on international duty this weekend.
I am so excited for this game. We could see Andy Johnson...finally. We should win this game, and be away with the 3 points.
With this delay, I almost forgot the EPL season had started. Back in the saddle, boys! Let's build up some early season points...
Ahh! Off the bar! Just pure domination right now... And another close one by Zamora. Who ARE these guys and why are they wearing white kits!?
Roy has had a tremdous effect on the Whites. Not only has he added some solid new players he gets much more out of last years left overs. I always considered Danny Murphy the type of guy who didn't play defense and all too often phoned in a performance. I haven't seen any of that since the beginning of the stretch run last year. Got to give the credit to Roy. This team could finish in the top third if they can stay away from injuries. The roster is smaller then most EPL teams & an injury to Jimmy Bullard or Hangeland would be desvastating. COYW
Was Dempsey on the bench? I know he didn't get into the Match. I'm not sure how he is training, but he is on fire for the US Nat's lately (finally).
I was really happy to see that the high level of effort and work rate from the Arsenal game were on display against Bolton. The midfield was committed to playing both ways and just like against Arsenal that made them dominant. If they'd connected on half the chances they had this game would have ended up easily being 4-1 or 5-1 ... I think they'll keep it up against Blackburn.
