I hope that "chap" has the right of it.

EDIT... Arsenal beat me to it. The "chap" is wrong. :-(

This game is on ESPN+ though, so if Nova does play, there's a rare chance to watch.

Nova DNP, they save him for the more important league games.

PS: They lost 2-1 to Parma. Honorable result, and playing away.

They were saving him as the "instant offense" sub in extra time, but they gave up the game winner at 90+2.

One of only 2 players out of 22 whose name does not end in a vowel.

Is he holding the ball up and bringing his teammates into the attack? Those things that target-forwards are renowned for?

    Based on stats, not really.

Today, he completed 10/18 passes, won 7/21 duels, committed eight fouls, was only fouled once, and missed one big chance. He did create two chances, so that's positive, but the stats are pretty bad.

He apparently won a penalty, which was converted

    Eh not really.

Creating 2 chances isn't that noteworthy. Different standard, but Raul Jimenez created 5 for Wolves today.

Serie B was a terrible fit for this guy and after this he'll be lucky to land a regular MLS contract a la Picault.

    From a SoccerbyIves articles

    Andrija Novakovich
After two good seasons in the Netherlands, first with second-division side Telstar and then Eredivisie side Fortuna Sittard, Novakovich finally stopped waiting for a chance with Reading FC, making a transfer move to Serie B side Frosinone.

The move has helped the 23-year-old Novakovich earn regular minutes in a tough defensive league. Goals haven’t been as easy to come by as they were when he was playing in the Netherlands, but the 6-foot-4 forward is someone Berhalter will need to consider. especially if he can help Frosinone gain promotion to Serie A.

Came in at 67', ended 0-0. Goalwise, Serie B is the anti-Eredivisie.
