And Sane embarrasses Arsenal even more.

this was goal #2, Sane didn't score this or assist but was involved in the build up. Had a hand in all 3 goals!!!

If he is fit for the WC, there is no excuse to start Draxler instead.

the convo should be between Sane and Reus. Draxler if he makes the squad should be on the lower end of choices for the starting XI. Basically he should start 0 games.

Sane really had a superb game ... is it that he fits into pep games system, how does that compare with Jogis system . Pep plays 433 system ... and Sane does well with that , the guy is juts super fast and in this form Reus will have to be the sub for him . ....
Between muller , Reus and Sane we are okay ... loew also might sie Müller or Reus as a back out Werner

Low usually goes for 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1 depending on the need.
although he used that 3 CB+2 fullbacks then a 2 man midfield and 3 up top almost the whole CC.
    So 5-2-3

so 3 formations, although I feel like Sane with his speed and dribbling might be better used as a 2nd half sub vs tired opponents. Whereas Reus might be better off starting.

    Sounds good to me.....
Wonder sometimes if Oezil with all the new players and options , where he actually would fit in best.

    e.g
We could have Gundo/Goretska and Muller play at the 10.
    or
    -------Khedira--Kroos---Gundo
    Muller------------Werner-----------Reus/Sane
    or
    -------Khedira--Kroos---Gundo
    Reus------------Muller----------- Sane
    or even.....4141
    ----------------Kroos--------------------
    Reus-----Muller-----Gundo------Sane
    -----------------Werner---------------------

Anyway I am sure we will see many different options and starters...as the tourney progresses.

I think Ozil fits the best if you play with 4-2-3-1. It's the only way to fit in Muller, Ozil, CF (likely Werner) and 1 of either Reus/Sane. Thing about Ozil, is that he's an AM, he could play LW but it's not his natural position.

    Muller----------- Ozil-------------------Reus/Sane
    ------------------Werner------------------------------

if one remembers during the WCQ, Werner had good chemistry with both Muller and Ozil. Even though they played together for the 1st time.

Another thing, Low has used Ozil in a 3 man midfield with Khedira and Kroos in numerous games. So that's another option for him.

I could see Low used different formations depending on the opponents. Although I don't think that 4141 would work, Younger and in shape Basti could do it, he did it vs Argentina in the WC finale. But Kroos could never manage that, he needs a partner.

I noticed this as well, Sane does best against top EPL teams rather than the lower end ones.

likely having to do with smaller clubs bunkering.

so anyone think that Sane is Ballon D'Or material? Of course not now, but when he reaches his prime and players like Messi, Ronaldo will already be done by then.

Well pep who has coached messi says he can be the new messi ...

The speed at which he can carry a ball is amazing . I would really like it if we have a German as one of the best in the world in the near future

me too, it's been a long time since a German won best accolades. Last German Ballon D'Or winner was Matthias Sammer back in 1996. That's 22 years ago.....

awards would love to see Germans win.
    -Ballon D'Or
-La Liga top scorer (no German has ever won it)
-EPL top scorer (no German has ever won it)
-European Golden Shoe, Last German to win it was Gerd Muller back in 1971-1972......

The Golden Shoe is very unlikely, because the Bundesliga has only 18 teams and only one real cup, hence there are a lot of games played less than in other leagues.

yeah that's one reason as to why any Bundesliga player will struggle to win it, since they play 4 games less. Although you would increase your chances if you play in France, Spain, Italy, and England. So a German player would have better chances if they move to win that. But the problem with that is that we don't have many players even capable of winning it.

    Maybe Werner will
Play for Barcelona one day .....

And what about Klinsmann did he not score most goals in the epl one year ?

JK played 2 seasons in EPL. His 2nd was a loan and he wasn't in the top 10.

while his 1st season he was #5 with 21 goals compare that to #1 Alan Shearer at 34 goals.

his only League top scorer award was a 1BL one.

as of now Werner is currently the only German striker that has chances to do well. Before him, Gomez had a few good seasons but not enough to beat the other League strikers across of Europe. The other promising striker are still too young.

Sane had a fantastic start to the EPL season in terms of scoring until, he became mostly an assist king. Had he continued his scoring run, he could be on the upper side of the scoring table. Currently at 8 goals. which puts him at 2 outside the top 10 EPL scorers.

by the way for Sane in EPL
    2016-2017 5 goals in 26 games
    2017-2018 8 goals in 23 games

Good thing Sane rejected France and Senegal never approached him.;)

Leroy’s father Souleymane Sané played for Senegal as a striker between 1990 to 1997, and made a total of 55 appearances for the Teranga Lions.

He revealed that the Senegal Football Federation could not convince his son to play for them, as there was no meeting arranged.

However the Ex-Freiburg forward stated that there was no approach for the Senegalese for Leroy.

He said, “Senegal FA officials knew very well that my kids were playing football. My son and I were never contacted by the FA or the team’s coach."

He also stated that even though Leroy elected to represent Germany, there was an approach from France.

“Unlike Germany and France, Senegal never showed any interest in my son.” Souleymane said

Now 57-year-old Souleymane stated that if the Senegalese football body contacted him, he would have arranged a meeting to talk to his son.

Meeting or no meeting, no chance in the world that Leroy would've chosen Senegal over Germany. I lol'd

yep he was eligible for France.

Sane is dual French and German National.
He's born in Germany to a German Mother
Dad was both Senegalese and French

as such he was eligible for all 3 countries. Although ironic that Sane's 1st ever senior NT call was vs France back in 2015 and he played vs them.:D

but yeah had he chosen France instead, they would be even more dangerous than they already are.

a lot of it usually has to do with where one is raised and starts their football careers. Had Sane been raised in France instead of Germany he would likely have chosen the French.

another interesting fact is that Low and his dad Souleymane Sané were teammates back in the day while playing for Freiburg.
