His game with some modification closely mirror Robbens. 70M is the new normal for talents on that level. With City buying every available top AM and wing forward I see him complaining of play time, Post World cup 2018, esp 2019/2010 season Robbery will be gone and Muller will be 30, City will still have Sterling, Sane Jesus, B.Silva, Kdb, maybe Alexis and any other new flavor AM/Wing forward available Sane will not accept the piecemeal play time thrown at him, Like the Boateng deal from City
Leroy easily putting up a MOTM performance. He also assisted on City's second and forth goal. On their way to victory over Crystal Palace.
based on current form and injuries it does seem like Sane deserves that left wing position over the others.
Another world class showing from @leroysane19 - no wonder he's your Man of the Match! 🙌 #cityvcpfc #mancity pic.twitter.com/KztG0SwWBi— Manchester City (@ManCity) September 23, 2017
I don't think it's so much that Sanè doesn't deserve the LW position, but rather whether LW position exists. Guardiola has often played a 3-5-2 to accommodate Jesus and Aguero in the same lineup, both of whom have also been very impressive. There simply isn't a lot Sanè can do to fit in a 3-5-2.
oh my mistake, I was talking about the NT. as for City, Sane only started the game because Jesus was on the bench with Aguero being the only striker. So there is still that problem, although with City playing so many games this season between League, Europe, Cups, he'll get plenty of game time and starts.
seems like bench Sane was because of Sane's preseason form. http://www.manchestereveningnews.co...tball-news/leroy-sane-goals-man-city-13665715
If they stay healthy, I believe Sane and Werner will be considered among the greatest of all time German players.
I think we need to see how they do at the next two tournaments before jumping to such conclusions. Werner has had a great start to his NT career, but there is no guarantee he will keep this up for years.
My statement was conditional. I did not say they are two of the best all time. I think they have the potential to be.
Man City taking a hit with big injuries. Aguero is out for potentially 2 months after getting in a traffic accident. Mendy is out for the season with a ruptured ACL.
Leroy back in the NT .@JB17Official und @LeroySane19 kehren zurück. Bundestrainer Joachim #Löw nominiert beide für #NIRGER und #GERAZE. #DieMannschaft pic.twitter.com/JdjJqIdWUV— DFB-Team (@DFB_Team) September 29, 2017
that should really help Sane getting into the starting XI as Jesus would be the only other striker on the team. So Sane wouldn't be benched because of formations that have both Jesus and Aguero in the XI.
Manchester City's Leroy Sane is fastest Premier League player since records began Manchester City flyer Leroy Sane has clocked the fastest sprint since Premier League records began. The Blues ace was recorded running at 35.48 kilometres per hour (22.05 mph) in the 1-0 win at Chelsea, which outstripped the previous fastest, by Jamie Vardy in 2015-16 season. http://www.manchestereveningnews.co...s/premier-league-fastest-player-sane-13709419
