Realistic scenario: Transfer ban stays Hazard leaves CHO and RLC out for months of next season How close is this to just basically writing this bloody thing off for a year? In these circumstances is there any reason not to bring back a half dozen players and let them play? Worst that can happen is we finish mid table but it looks increasingly likely we wont be close to top 4 anyway so is that such a bad thing? Finishing 7th could be a real boon. I dont even care if sarri stays at this point, no manager is going to do something more starting pedro, willian et al every game. Blood the kids, there is as little risk as there's been since Roman took over in doing so. Who cares if they are not ready, make them ready by giving them starts!
I was at the game, which was nice to see but completely ruined by the RLC injury. The Patriots and NR play on a very high quality synthetic turf, with this game being a friendly, why not just play on it instead of that trash they rolled out?
