    Outside of CR7, CQ didn’t have too much to work with. They lacked a #9 once pauleta stepped down. Defense was not a problem for Portugal. There was no legit scoring threats outside of cR7.

    Deco - past his prime
    Nani - bad injury kept him out of 2010 WC IIRC
    Simao - ok winger but better days were behind him.
    Nuno Gomes - past prime
    Hugo almeida / Helder Postiga - .......

    I recall they had a lot B2B midfielders who were solid.

    If cuadrado is not 100% come June I foresee a lot of doble/triple cincos for awhile. As long as Uribe and Duvan are playing with James 75+ min per game I think our chances against anyone are good.
