We have to ship off more talent to Europe, we play old tactics, that isnt going to cut it. This slow pass, pass, back pass, will never work. We need a quick counter style of football.
"Tengo muchisima esperanza en Tata Martino, lo que es la figura, lo que ha hecho en Atlanta....me parece el tecnico ideal." Ah, bueno!
My problem with Tata Martino is he had, arguably, the best player on the planet on his squad twice and he failed to impress at the highest possible stage. Maybe is the coach we deserve, since we fail to go above and beyond whats expected, just like martino.
This year we lost vs Brazil, vs Uruguay, vs Chile, and vs Argentina (twice). Please tell me how Mexico doesn't need to play Libertadores/Copa América. We can't even touch the South Americans at the moment, how are we gonna compete with the Europeans?
Argentina fans break out the olé chant after a multi-goal lead. México fans do it after putting two passes together at kick off.
Man finally it’s all over. This round of friendlies feels especially useless. These dudes are playing worse now than when we played the first post-WC game. Worst part is there were zero revelations.
clearly playing against the US, Costa Rica, Panama and Honduras, the world's real powerhouses, is all the competition we need. /s But really is the same shit as always, pochos will keep printing money for the FMF, who cares if we keep getting exposed by better players, those "fans" have the memory span of a goldfish
2014 was a lot more positive than 2018, even with the loss vs Belarus. At least it seemed like we had a something going on for the following year with the coach, and we had had a strong showing at the World Cup. This year we had the victory vs Germany and... everything else was just disappointing.
Germany turned out to be a paper tiger as well. That "historic victory" meant absolutely nothing in the grand scheme of things.
They might just have worthless friendlies but Angel Zaldivar is one of the worst players I've EVER seen with the National team.
