Neither side have allowed a goal this year, although Liverpool have scored 4 to Rovers' 1.

Nothing is deleted. And people's Jeff Spicoli impressions were hijacking a thread that's for the match later today.

Should be a great game. Liverpool is playing very well with Diouf/Owen up front (combined age of 43!) and Heskey supporting very well on left wing. And Friedel has looked sensational so far in the EPL. His save on Stern John was the best I've seen in this young season (although Keller's save last week was pretty good as well...).

I'm hoping its just not Brad's day! Liverpool 2-0 with Mikie the first scorer.

Note that Liverpool's site is now a membership-driven system. Most likely means you have to pay them for webcasts. :(

Blackburn's site might have something free, though.

    Cheers,

3PM EDT. It's on FSW. The Liverpool site requires an e-ticket at $50 a year. You might try the Rovers web site.

Look at the title of the thread. Both Liverpool and Blackburn have a pay-per-hear webcast.

    Ouch.

Some of these memberships for the YA-related players and their teams might be looking more and more like a worthwhile investment (as long as I can convert from British pounds to US $ to Australian $, for this newlywed's family budgetary purposes)...

    Cheers,
    William

You mean "Rovers Radio" charges now? When did this start? What an outrage.

Liverpool looks to be very dangerous in attack this year. They look to be playing a bit indirectly, considering that Diouf and Owen aren't that big, either of them. The game this week-end, it seemed they were trying to push the ball out to Heskey on the left, and having him make runs toward the corner.

This should be a very entertaining match. I am predicting Blackburn 1 Liverpool 2

Brad starts. Same 11 for Rovers as this weekend against Birmingham.

As for Liverpool, Riise starts in place of Heskey.

Relatively quiet match so far, Brad with a couple of touches--had to come off his line to the edge of the box to corral before Owen got onto it.

Freidel easily handles corner. Commentator: "Easily handled by the giant Friedel. Who's in the form of his life, really"

    1-0, Rovers. Dunn.

Duff on the left, low cross, dummied by Cole, gathered by Dunn and scores with his left--his "off" foot.

Cole with a shot near post, Dudek saves, out for a corner. He could have tried a cross into the box, but tried to sneak a shot in Meola-style to the near post.

    Dudek punches out.

    19' done.
