Can anyone explain the 8:30pm start Friday? I thought this was a misprint until I also saw it on the league website...

To be honest, Steve, I hadn't seen the start time at 830pm. I thought it was at 7Pm. At least I wouldn't have been a late arrival....

The 8:30 start I can only imagine is to allow more time for people to come after work or whatever.

Possibly. We also have a mid-season game on a Tuesday or a Wednesday. Maybe that will start at 830PM, too?

99% sure I can't go, but I like the start time. As said, it allows people to get off work. 8:00 PM would've been perfect, but this allows people to get off work, go home, and take their kids to the game

Game was orginally scheduled for the normal time on Sat. FAU reserved the stadium for their spring practice on Sat. and bumped the Strikers to Friday. Why 8:30 start, not sure, 8:00 or 7:30 for Friday would be better, but show up. It will be fun.

UM scheduled the stadium for there spring game, and the later start time is to give grounds keeping enough time to set the field up for football the next day.

Its gonna suck but get ready to watch us play on a football field friday night
