Why we should be just like England written it comes to MLS. Because their national does so well.

The debt is 137 mil pounds. But still, Short was asking for 170 mil a few years ago.

Paying £137M is hardly 'free,' whether the money goes to the current owner or to creditors.

“For now, I suggest turning your eyes to England and Europe. Take in as much of the Premier League and Champions League as you can - you won't regret it.”

Because the CL represents the finest in how to improve the soccer landscape. Hoover up all the world talent into five or six teams, play games. It’s what the NASL could have been if they had just kept up that profligate spending of the 70’s.

    Thx,

    Jay!

It’s why Newcastle is still owned by Fat Mike. He’s perfectly willing to sell for £200M or so, provided the purchaser also covers the two £100M notes he has on the club.

    Thx,

    Jay!
