As of March 1st Setanta would no longer exist in the good old USA...I have no idea who will be getting the US television rights for Ligue 1 and doubt it if FSC plus will be showing any of the games..
According to livesoccertv.com Ligue 1 games will be shown on Fox Soccer Channel. I hope they're correct.
Ok.So www.livesoccertv.com says it's FSC but according to my DirectTV schedule it will be on Fox Soccer Plus (PSG v St Etienne)
Yeah, the match aired on the mother channel of FSC. Since this is before the other leagues have started, I'm wondering if the matches will be shown only on FSC Plus starting next week. The FSC schedule didn't show this for today, and I'm guessing that someone thought it would be a good promo for the Ligue 1 coverage on their other channel. I am hoping that we get to see it on the main channel, though. Not only is the football more entertaining but the TV coverage from France has been the best for years.
Hmmm. It seems that every game that they are showing or have shown so far involve PSG. Kind of strange. Perhaps they only obtained a deal with PSG's official channel. ???
So I usually catch Ligue 1 through ATDHE.net or similar sites but the video is not of very good quality. Does Canal+ or Orange offer HD streaming of live games over the internet? Similar to ESPN3.com? I couldn't find anything, but if anyone knows could you let me know? Thanks!
