Many of them did well this weekend too. Anelka, Malouda and N'Zogbia scored.

I think he has dual nationality, hence why he did not make the footanglais365 list. According to them he is Malian.

At one point in Arsenals 5 nil drubbing of Derby, 5 out of 11 players on the field for them were french. At that instance they had a whopping 8/11 francophones playing!!

I was watching highlights and wow, Diaby can actually shoot. Then he could be a bit different from Patrick, after all.

Henry had an absolutely amazing couple of touches to bring a pass down in the 72 minutes into barca game. But it was an atypical shot from him in that position. Subpar. Ive heard of losing your speed when you hit your 30s, but your shot??? He did put the ball in nicely for Messi's first.

What about making Arsenal the 21st elite French club, specifically for representing the French citizens living in London and the others ? It would be more simple. It is sure that I will support Arsenal as soon as they will declare themselves as a French club. Do you really still think Arsenal is an English club ?

For Arsenal, the last English manager is gone in 1983. The last English captain is gone in 2002...

I think it's a cruel irony that Arsenal is the only French club which is able to buy English players... and they even do not.

Louis Saha had an atrocious dive in the 88th minute for a penalty, to seal united's victory today. Bout the best thing he's done all year.

N'Zogbia had two assists and a goal in newcastles win of west ham on sunday. Most of the damage was done with him playing left back as well. This kid is just being slotted everywhere on the pitch and excelling. I'm gonna keep a close eye on him this season.

Mavuba really should play more, I've seen Marcos Senna in the World Cup, and Mavuba is a better player I believe.

I didnt think leaving Bordeaux for Villareal was a huge step up. Yeah I know Spain > France but Villareal are on the decline while Bordeaux are on the up and up. Tough for Villareal to continue to remain competitive with the Spanish heavyweights. Bordeaux have been one of the larger French clubs for a long time.

I wouldn't say that Villareal are on the decline (they're trying to sell Riquelme, but Riquelme was already benched throughout the past year), but Bordeaux at the moment are the second-best team in France. Diarra's done a good job filling in for Mavuba, though a Mavuba-Diarra midfield would be one of the best tandems in L1. Then again, Bordeaux likely wouldn't have been after Diarra if Mavuba stayed.
