http://futbolete.com/laseleccion-com-co/ya-empiezan-a-fijarse-en-frank-fabra Boca Juniors wants him. Prefer River
probably just a pointless rumor that won't happen. Still though, good idea to give him a thread since he'll probably be playing with the NT for a long time he continues the way he played yesterday
To me he does remind me a bit of Perea when he was at Boca. If I remember correctly they sometimes used him as a central defender and also as a RB. (I know this kid is a LB but the playing style is still similar.)
Who was the last Boca player? Can't be Perea that was like 10 years ago when Once Caldas won Copa Lib. Was it that god awful Gallego kid?
We had that moreno CB start who turned out to be awful a few years back. Was Vargas the last Colombian to start for them? I don't remember off hand.
Was nelson rivas river? Can't remember anymore. I get him and bonilla confused but they were both horrible either way so doesn't matter
Different cases. Rivas a little helped by the fans, that were the owners of his contract. Was highly rated in a point when he arrived to river, and people consider a possible called up. Bonilla i think that didnt play more than 5 matches
This is what Boca's fans will ever remember from Breynner Bonilla. Btw @pepinointer , last semester and this one also, he plays for Tolima, not Huila.
It was the CB that transferred from Equidad. I forgot his name but he never played for Boca again after he broke someones leg and got red carded.
"Nos han llamado de muchas partes a preguntar por Frank Fabra. De Alemania, de Portugal, Argentina... Solo son opciones" Silva Meluk #DIM— tiagoaristi (@tiagoaristi) October 23, 2015
Thought he was training already. Doubt anyone will buy a guy who just came back from a knee injury. Before he plays 1 game especially when he doesn’t have a EU passport
I might be wrong but there is a limit of how many foreign players can be on a roster. I don;t think Fabra will play until he is transferred or they get rid of Cardona /other foreigners.
he's back in pre season training Frank Fabra back in full pre-season training.Fabra was heavily linked to Europe before a bad injury, his return will be important for both Boca & the Colombian national team.If all goes to plan it could be the Copa America in June then a possible European move in the summer. https://t.co/ZGn3DNoxyQ— Simon Edwards (@SimonEdwardsSAF) January 4, 2019
Yup. Hopefully he heals up well. Sometimes players aren't the same after a major injury like that though so we just have to wait and see.
Fabra is on the roster today against Belgrano. Hopefully he gets some playing time and looks healthy.
https://www.futbolred.com/curiosida...abra-en-partido-de-boca-juniors-y-lanus-93609 Interesting video where Fabra and Jose Luis Sinisterra challenge for the ball. i thought for a second this "Mr. Sinister" was the Feyenoord guy (on loan perhaps), but it is in fact a doppleganger =) in any case - very happy to see Fabra making strides towards a full recovery.
