Yeah! Now for the hard part. But Smuda is probably the best guy out of the entire pool of available coaches to motivate the team during "meaningless" friendlies.
Mr. Smuda is well-known at my local football club Fürth (2 Bundesliga), where he played in the past. Nearby he coached several lower-class teams in the surroundings of my city and lived here for many years before going back to Poland. I think he still has very good contacts to the Nuremberg/Fürth region... Good luck, Franz!
Yeah, his German contacts are no secret, and he certainly has the German work ethic that he tries to instill in the clubs that he coached in Poland. Right now he is working very hard to steer Sebastian Boenisch of Werder towards the Polish NT, which as I understand has raised an ire of the team's coach..
