Is there any chance that Adrianna Franch will be back in the USWNT picture by the time of qualifiers a year or so from now?

Great question. From what I've seen watching all the competing keepers, she is the best of them. Her distribution had been a problem in the past, but that seems no longer to be a problem. Maybe there are intangibles I don't know about, but I don't know what they would be.

Unfortunately with this regime, things other than performance on the field appear to weigh more heavily than would seem logical. Franch is clearly the best US keeper in the NWSL at the moment. I agree that distribution was an achilles heal in an otherwise fabulous shot stopper, but she seems to have made great progress with that aspect of her game.

    franch is the real deal!

she should get a call up.

but the current coaches seem to have settled on smith and campbell as their young up and comers. other coaches would see it differently.
