In honor of the big man's birthday I went and got the following done today. A small thank you for everything he's given me.
I read Totti got kicked out of coaching class for missing too many lessons. Mentre la rosa sboccia Il professore boccia! Totti rinuncia al corso per allenatori: al suo posto Simone Perrotta
VIDEO: Roma Win 'Best Slow Motion Video Award' for Emotional Tribute to Francesco Totti https://www.si.com/soccer/2017/10/2...video-award-emotional-tribute-francesco-totti
A friend of my cousin living in Miami said Nesta and Maldini offered Totti a contract but he declined. I had heard that but didn't believe it and thought it was just a rumor.
Seen clips of him in that match. He plays like Gatusso would in the number 9 role. Heart is there for sure
Cassano called him last week to tell him he should still be playing. I wonder exactly what he would do if he played a full or even half a season at 41. My guess is he would still score and make assists but wouldn’t run much.
I love Totti and his signed jersey and WC picture are priceless to me but it was time for him to go. Not only because of his age and physical limitations but IMO, part of changing the culture at the club requires Totti and DDR be gone. Harsh, but that's how I see it.
I'm sure Totti can still play the game somewhere but it remains to be see to what capacity. Sadly, I believe you are right though about the changing culture not only at Roma but across the entire Serie A. DDR already has one foot out the door...
decided to upload the video of the totti painting and add a few pics at the end. here's a link if anyone's interested. DAMN i miss seeing totti on the field!
