Exactly what happened! Club won’t be sold! Respect Totti as a great player but he is a LIAR and not a very smart individual!— Donald J. Pallotta (@DonaldJPallotta) June 17, 2019
Why? He's coming out and telling the truth about this disgrace of a club. Some might think he's being childish or whatever you want to call it, however when you love something, you will go to great lengths. This team is a joke and if they're going to disrespect the best player in their history, I'm happy he puts it out in the open.
The club is already destabilized. Sometimes you have to re-break your nose to fix it. Same might be true here.
Couldn't agree more. I only see Totti doing this because he loves he club. The bottom line issue is Pallotta sucks and places possibly even worse people in charge. This club is diseased on the inside.
Calm down, man, otherwise everyone involved would survive this farewell, but you. Raggi: The stadium is possible, but Pallotta has to invest in a mandatory Edit button in the AS Roma sub-forum. They'd also like chicken wings. From eagles.
LOL... I just looked up the twitter account. I suppose the hair should have been a dead giveaway. Nice...
#Pallotta considering taking legal action against #Totti after controversial press conference https://t.co/XL5gPUthJa pic.twitter.com/SnZvcY4SiF— CalcioMercato (En) (@CmdotCom_En) June 18, 2019 Nice, now both our DS and Technical Director can coordinate from jail.
He is telling his version. For example he complains about not being involved but he is always off jet-setting. As I said, if he wants to be a real director it's a 48 a week job. Second, I would bet by house Totti to some degree was part of the dysfunction. Third, this was nothing more than a bi#$& session, otherwise present solutions too. Totti could have flown to Boston and presented JP with the problems and his ideas to fix them. Lastly, if you scroll down you'll see I'm not absolving JP. This press conference was childish and only did more damage.
If Pallotta is so bad, why - two seasons ago - did we reach a record points total in Serie A? He is the same president now as he was then.
Baldissoni: “Pallotta’s absence? Liverpool just won in Europe with a president whose presence in limited. Pallotta even recently invited Totti to his home in Boston”. https://t.co/Qvx5hYy5sm— RomaPress (@ASRomaPress) June 18, 2019
I was reading an article on ForzRoma last night (forgot to bookmark it and I don't feel like searching again), that was interesting. They writer was scouring social media and while the majority was pro-Totti there was a significant amount questioning Totti's motives and saying he was doing more harm than good. I think we all forget that all Roma fans in the city are not a monolithic group. We just see the ultras and equate that with all Romans
ffs.. Pallotta needs to calm down and stfu. Even if he wins there are a large group of fans that will support Totti unquestionably. Let it die then in a couple of years try to make nice with Totti and move on
The keyword is 'considering' - it's a wording that says "I'm sure I'm right, but I might decide to be magnanamous and not pursue this in court, still I intended to, so I was right, y'all". If he really intended on going on trial, he would've said "I intend" or "I'll look if it's possible", "I'll look if we have a case", or "I'm bringing him on trial", statements that are strong and rightiouss, without being safe at the same time. The upper 'considering' is just a PR that doesn't come with any back-wash when he doesn't follow through, but comes with some minor positives. Ever the fox, Jimmy. He well knows that winning such a case against Totti would forever tarnish his ownership of this club, he isn't doing it, it's not a good PR move.
It’s already over for JP. He was already on shaky ground but when you get denounced by the immaculate one it’s over.
