Failing to finish chances against any top team is just asking for disaster. I would say the Japan "should" be up by two.

Your English, at least typed, is superb. Much better than my Japanese. But I plead lack of practice as when I lived in Japan, a little over 40 years ago, the family I lived with would not let me practice Japanese as they, even the eight year old VERY shy girl, wanted to practice their English.

But lively is a word that has various flavors and is often not used to indicate a positive. In this case aggressive or active might be better choices.

Ok, anyway, Oberdorf won't be "lively", but she's definitely dangerous, as seen just a few minutes earlier!

I just heard that Germany does not have a shot on goal yet in this match. That is VERY surprising to me.

Dangerous is an even better choice, and I agree.

Anyway, for records, although I root for Japan my native language is not Japanese. ;)

Well shortly thereafter Japan gets another and all of Japan's corners have looked better than the one poor effort Germany has had.

OK, I'll bite, what is it? Don't tell me it's "Danish" or "Norwegian"as those are impossible languages, at least for me.

Oh, I see. It is Italian. If I actually noticed things then I might not make such a fool out of myself. ;)

Germany's defense looks to be very out of sorts. Japan should have at least one more.

If Germany does not tighten up the back line Japan will put it away shortly.

Well, it was normal noticing the avatar and forgetting to read the rest ;).

Japan is anyway wasting a ton of other chances!!!!

As I said Germany's defense needed tightening and it did not happen so Japan scores again. Germany must really push now and Japan could get two or three more!!

Pretty common with all possession based teams it seems...

Now THAT is an insult, accusing me of being "normal." I do not know if I will ever recover.:rolleyes::confused::)

Japan scores another. Germany's defense has simply collapsed.

Well, I guessed 3 of the 4 games correctly with 2 of the scores perfectly.
I totally flubbed on Germany vs Japan.
Although, I'm glad to see Germany getting crushed.
I would like to see a team that's never won the U-20's go all the way now.

I guess Germany's first shot of the game was an header high over the bar from their 2nd CK of the game, at 78'!!!

Oh, and their 2nd shot is a goal, now! :(

Considering that we should have been ahead by 4 or 5 right now, I am annoyed that we didn't keep a clean sheet. :devilish:

Actually I was talking about "shots on goal" not "shots at goal." I think that "shots at goal" is a meaningless stat because it shows only how many times a team fails.

Now Germany gets one back. I still think that Japan is well in control and there is just not enough time left for Germany to come back.

Japan wins 3-1 but it could have easily been 6 or 7 - 1.

Japan's defense is going to be VERY hard for England to break down.

Don't worry, you're not normal. Or, at max, you're as normal as me (trust me, it's a compliment by your standards ;)).

I don't think @Lechus7 did "his thing" for quarter finals yet, so, while we wait for the Germany-Japan video to be produced... :)
