The pessimist in me wonders if that includes the superclasico(?), which is right around the corner - 1 Sept.
Is this confirmed? Fubo didn’t have the Boca or River games on demand (they had the rest of the TyC games). The Boca game did have TyC graphics but I assumed that was because for years TyC International has had rights outside Argentina and the USA, so Fanatiz just showed the TyC International feed. If indeed TyC has rights to all the games, I take credit as I recently switched my Fanatiz subscription to the annual plan [emoji23].
I was caught off guard when I saw the game on TyC. I had just finished watching defensa y justicia vs. independiente and I went to watch the Boca match on SportTV out of Portugal and the station was offline. I went back to TyC just to put it back on and was shocked to see the Boca match on. I just wish the Directv TyC was in HD. It forces me to watch the matches live in HD through my IPTV.
That's true. I guess what I was asking though (and was too lazy to type it as I was on my phone at the time) was, were both River and Boca matches shown live on TyC last weekend or just the Boca one?
The Fubo guide doesn't show either game. Female boxing and a rerun of that morning's Union de Santa Fe v. Defensa y Justicia during the River and Boca match windows. I guess we won't know until one of us remembers to test it.
So River-Lanús is indeed on TyC. My DirecTV guide was correct and the Fubo guide was incorrect. I’ll check in during the Boca game to see if TyC has rights to all games or if they have to pick one between Boca and River each week.
Patronato-Boca is not on TyC (they’re showing a rerun of Gimnasia-San Lorenzo, despite the fact that the Fubo guide says Union-Defensa y Justicia). So it looks like TyC has one of Boca or River each match day (unclear if it’s their pick or they have to alternate).
The "Pack Fútbol" (Fox Sports Premium + TNT Sports) costs 580 pesos per month. It has some 2.0 million subscribers.
Either about $10 or $15 per month, depending if he's talking about Argentinian or Uruguayan pesos. The former seems reasonable.
San Lorenzo-Boca is watchable on Fanatiz but doesn’t look great. Also appears to answer the question of whether TyC has first choice of Boca and River or has to alternate. Appears that they have to alternate, as you’d imagine that this clásico would have been first choice.
