Is there some 10th tier level we can sink to where the Champions L. spots are no longer handed out, and you have to play 10 playoff games just to make the 9th tier, and from there you have to play another 15 games to make the 8th tier???

I could see Gullit becoming a head coach after the next 2 qualification games. It is not really a good choice, after watching his posting video of the dressing room. The other candidate seems to be Frank De Boer, which is not a good choice either. Is F De Boer trying to set a Guiness Record for a coach to be sacked so quick in major football leagues (Italy, England)? There are still Spanish and German and French leagues but I doubt he will get another chance for these leagues, and he probably may not want to come back to Eredivisie. Maybe Greek league?
A disappointed performance of Dutch players and club in Champion League, so there are no positives to build on for the next 2 qualification games or any European competitions for that matters.

IIRC the KNVB opted for Advocaat to try and salvage the WCQs instead of going for a younger candidate, a long term option. Yet will the next manager get much time? The Nations League starts right after the World Cup and is going to be cut-throat (3 double matchdays to either win promotion/final 4 or avoid relegation and in League A you could be drawn into a group with e.g. Germany + France or Spain + Italy) ... also, the "Euro for Europe" is co-hosted by Holland (with at least 2 Holland games in Amsterdam).

Will the KNVB look for a big enough name, like last time, so no to the Ten Cate's of the world? If not, how about Hein Vanhaezebrouck, Yannick Ferrera or Hugo Broos? They know how to overperform when facing opposition that have much more quality, e.g. Broos winning silverware with Cameroon despite not having any decent players at his disposal.

Another mediocre game by Wijnaldum. I'm readiing the Liverpool forums after every game, and they re constantly talking about dropping him out of the team. Just because he plays well and scores in one or two big games in the year doesn't mean he is a good midfielder, he has so many flaws.
