i read that earlier today. However, it is just a generic notimex article that is just probably trying to throw spit balls and see what catches on.

I tend to usually pass off articles that do no have an author. If an article has an author, then he is most likely to write it having a strong contact to back up his article.

    -------------------------

I am not passing it off. I could very well be true considering I see some serious changes after the WCC fiasco

im not saying that. I am saying when I read an article that actually has an author's name attached to that particular article, it adds more weight to the article's validity.

Most media outlets pay your top news agencies (like reuters, aps, notimexs, etc) for articles, photos, etc, because it is just not cost effective to have reporters and photographers on staff covering every little single issue.

Would you personally write something without having any sources or contacts and more importantly--agree to have your name associated with it? I wouldnt it. Most reporters (at least the good ones) cover their tracks and when their publications come into question, they can always say---"i got my information from X source who happens to be a reliable source" In a way its like passing off the buck to someone, but its about protecting your tracks as well.

Not only that, but nowhere in the story does it mention any hard facts, only speculation. The tense of the verbs used is the conditional, not the present or future. It is all crap!
