Thats the plan. We're giving it a few days before we post anything so it doesn't get buried under the coaching hire stuff.
Watching the HOU/SEA second leg, Twellman saying that this might be Vicente Sanchez's last game. Always liked him as a player!
I loved how I was fully on the Sanchez bandwagon and I get to the stadium and there were more than a few MX fans wearing old Sanchez jerseys.
Nice Q&A with Matt Pickens: http://www.uslsoccer.com/news_article/show/862547?referrer_id=2333971 I do not have a “biggest memory” of that time [Winning the MLS Cup], but instead a feeling, which to me is more important. The feeling within the group of that 2010 championship team was blue-collar and as humble of a group I have ever been a part of. We did not have any superstars, but rather a hard-working group of guys, no-one above another, competing honestly every day at training which spearheaded an MLS Cup victory. We were very well-balanced as a team in every aspect and that feeling mirrored that throughout the entire 2010 season.
It put a huge huge smile on my face seeing Drew Moor lift that MLS Cup today. It's been one helluva emotional roller coaster dealing with the heart scare. Lifting that Cup was incing on the cake after getting back onto the field, looking like he never missed a beat (pun intended). Two titles in 3 MLS Cups. Not a shabby career. I have zero problem calling him one of, if not the most underrated defender in MLS history right along with his opponent, Chad Marshall. Drew is, hands down, a future Gallery of Honor member.
The Cone was on FS1 today doing Bundesliga commentary for the Munchen v. Frankfurt match, nice he found something besides playing soccer that will pay him while he is in a mostly stationary position. More seriously I'm glad he has been able to 'stay in the game' and he did fine, he had a significant career before the Rapids, at the Rapids -- not so much.
@torontofc and fans: These past 2 years have been a dream for me and my family. And so.... we’re gonna keep dreaming and head back to BMO in 2018. Thanks to everyone who has supported us in this adventure, let’s keep it rollin’... 🇨🇦🏆❤️ pic.twitter.com/PBYCxCoiqJ— Drew Moor (@drewmoor) December 15, 2017
Still makes me sad to not see him in Rapids colors. Although to be fair he would not be holding another cup....
So sad today that Leo's daughter Valentina has passed away. Leo has now lost 2 of his children in the last week, please keep him & his family in your prayers.@marthaclavijo8 has started a https://www.gofundme.com/leo-percovich-and-family … page if u would like to help.@Burgundywave @ColoradoRapids @MLSpic.twitter.com/d60f9T1KsB

Mo Saeid officially has left the Rapids and MLS and signed with Danish Superliga club Lyngby BK. They finished a surprise third last season and qualified for Europe but as a result of success sold several of their young guns and are hovering just above the relegation zone. Good luck to Mo! Lyngby has leaked a shit ton of goals so Mo should be a big help in the defensive end. edit: Shit @JasonMa beat me to it!

Oh geez. He was fearless out there and he couldn't head the ball in practice. I love how hard he played but it sounds like he should have retired sooner.
https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...ham-forest-manager-middlesbrough-championship Aitor Karanka is named new Nottingham Forest manager Oddly they just knocked out a KSE team not named the Rapids on Sunday with their interim/caretaker manager Gary Brazil in his last match with them.
Yes it convinced me that he is not just one of the many 'flavors of the month' at the Nat's board. Not that it matters a lot anytime soon though ...
It did seem odd given weakness at the position and that he was playing regularly. Oh well, can't go back to the past, and there were other problems. Feel bad for him if he could have had a career with the Nats.
Still training at Avaya💪🏾, #sjearthquakes still has my locker up ✊🏾 but still no word from @mls 🤐 Don’t know if I can play this year 🤷🏾♂️ and still haven’t been paid since June 💸 #USL #NASL #anyoneneedaroommate pic.twitter.com/amgdnF3Kkt— Marvell Wynne II (@marvwynne22) January 10, 2018
Marco Pappa was once again arrested for domestic violence. The former Sounder/Rapid was apparently stopped on his way to Asia where he was supposed to join a new team. https://www.sounderatheart.com/2018/1/11/16877260/ola-kamara-could-be-heading-to-a-new-city-soon http://www.prensalibre.com/guatemal...pappa-capturado-por-violencia-contra-la-mujer
