OK, I finally caved and signed up the other day. But I can't view any of the clips because I have Windows Media Player 10 -- it appears the site only supports up to WMP 9. I can't download WMP 9 because the one Windows has available is not set up for use with XP. I e-mailed Arsenal TV Online; no reponse yet. Anybody else have this problem or some advice for me? Thanks.
I have WMP 10 and it works for me. I have a suspicion it's a Firefox thing - it does only work in IE. It's better than not having it (no question), but some other clubs have better services. I have Liverpool's as well (don't ask) and it's a mile better than Arsenal's.
i didn't try with IE ... tried firefox and netscape, my two favorites. i'll try again later with IE and see if it works. (not at home right now). thanks for the help! strangely, i'm all excited to see those reserve match highlights
I really wish Microsoft would get off their arses and make a compatible Windows Media Player 10 for Mac. There are way too many cross-platform users for them to continue ignoring their own format, even on a competitor's OS. You'd think Gates would want to keep a foot in the door. All the Arsenal TV Online problems seem to come with the rights-management of the clips and downloads. If there are any other Mac users who have Arsenal TV Online, I can help you find the matchday audio links for live broadcasts...it IS there.
